Who knew that Create Deco was developing such high tech nano armor.

I feel like I didn't load the cannons right with the right charge. I gave the Explosive cannon shot a proximity fuse set to 1 block. I'm not sure i...

pastel stratus
#

Oh sorry my bad, I didn't mention I filmed it on the newer version of VS2. They changed the default block weight to 1000kg

#

So most of the stuff I had on my drones are now literally 10x heavier

shell socket
#

new vs2 kinda cucked everyone

#

honestly they should make everything lighter

#

and i do mean everything

#

when you make every kind of stone as heavy as they are there's not a whole lot of options for building blocks

#

especially now that all the modded blocks are as heavy

#

my two cents

#

at least let us config block weights

pastel stratus

#

...aren't weights datapackable

#

Can't edit the default weight tho, I think

pastel stratus
#

But then you need to learn about datapacks...

I would do the same

#

cant ignore powerful stuff but ehhh theres no alternative

pastel stratus
#

well if you manage to gather enough netherite to build one then I think you deserve to have something invulnerable

#

I mean it already has infinite ammo why not pair it with invulnerability as well

proud obsidian
#

you would be giving the enemy enough sets to last alot of wars

#

its to big of a risk

#

but you are right

proud obsidian
pastel stratus
#

yeah I see your point, you can still use other armor alternatives... but one thing tho...

#

these caged ones are NOT built to be fair

Or some nuance to it like in From the Depths

Resistance vs. Override

Resistance:
• The ability of a block to mitigate the effects of an explosion and diminish the rays from the blast.
— Best Armor Blocks: Iron Blocks, Iron Bars, All “hull” blocks (placeholder)
— Iron because of this will not be destroyed by anything but a direct hit and will prevent anything behind it from taking block damage.
• In another server, many blocks have their resistances buffed.
• This uses the blast resistance mechanics of Minecraft’s base game.
• The radius of the damage is determined by the equation
(blast resistance + 0.3) × 0.3
that is calculated for each “blast ray” every time it needs to pass through a block. Any block that doesn’t reduce the ray to zero is destroyed.
• This results in a crater that has a visible origin and is reduced in size based on the resistance of block.

Override:
• The % chance that a block that should be destroyed in an explosion is spared.
— Best blocks: all copper and endstone blocks (placeholder)
• Because it doesn’t actually effectively stop the blast rays, blocks behind the armor plate can take damage from an impact but the plate itself may be spared.
• Think of this like as akin to armor spalling where the armor plate isn’t compromised but “shrapnel” from the inside of the armor plate is created that causes internal damage
• This results in no definable crater. Rather, jagged and spotted tears or holes across the impact zone.

disclaimer: not my orginal idea but. I have seen this in action and its proven to be balenced and affective.

Eh, Netherite is kind of op. As far as I know its the only block type that has a resistance value of 1200.

the next best thing I found is Steel from Create Alloyed with a resistance value of 14 tho Steel Mesh Fences have a resistance value of 6.

You need to either use the full block or half slab variants but they weigh 1000kg (new VS2 version 2.2.1)

As I see it these netherite mesh cages would be reserved for like admin stuff like a House-bot from Robot wars.

#

OR, if you still would want to build Netherite cages but you also want it to be fair... you might be able to find a separate mod that can break Netherite

#

Without netherite id prolly like

#

Make my fast aircraft w single layer steel and slower aircraft w double to triple layer

#

Might change tho cause last time I adhered to those trends it was old vs2 where you could have ultra light fuck you armor

pastel stratus

#

I mean

#

U can make ur own

#

Stickers and a couple blocks of pole

#

Or if you’re extra fancy

#

Gantry shaft that builds its own way so virtually no amount of armor is enough to not be drilled through

#

Couple that a tnt dispenser with like 12 tnt or even really just a couple blocks of static tnt

#

And you’ve got yourself a funny little strange bunker buster

#

Though honestly

#

I hope that the Solver is able to like melt through netherite-adjacent material or sumn

pastel stratus
#

I would pay good money to see someone pull that off with a ship ram

#

As a matter of fact I don't see a lot of people do that by default with VS2 and Modular Routers

#

Two routers side by side. One extends a redstone block into the ship then the second router extends a tnt block right next to it setting it off from inside the ship
