I am trying to host a forge server for some friends with a custom mod pack that includes VS, Eureka, Create, and some assorted exploration mods with Mine Mine no Mi to make a One Piece pirate server. I am using a server PC running Ubuntu and forge server 36.2.39. After startup the server appears to be falling behind on ticks until it eventually gets too far behind and crashes. This can happen even without anybody interacting with the server. I have tried different optimization mods but there were other complications like MCMT causing issues with the physics engine running in parallel. I tried editing the synchronization and updates per tick in the VS config but I didn't notice much difference. I have attached the crash report, please let me know if there is a way to help the server keep up or if there is another issue I'm not seeing.

is vs even on 1.16
yeah
yeah I would use a different version but the one piece mod is only for 1.16.5 forge
the server cant handle vs
I don't see why not though? there weren't any ships running and I can give it up to 10 GB of ram
just how vs is
it's on my own server pc
not super beefy but it should be enough to run mods on a server
yeah it should be fine then
