Very cool but the mod already has whats needed to do boats. Just propellers can deal with most of the needs a boat has to move around

While cars are nearly impossible to make rn but VSbodies and MekAPI will come sooner than water occlusion

Therefore

The car update will come sooner

True, but Clockwork also adds alot of compatibility things VS doesn't have

Not fluid simulation physics

Cause that's what they're planning to use for water occlusion

that's... overly complicated I think, but I am probably completely wrong. I'm stupid so excuse me if what I write is total bullshit, but in my opinion the best way to do it would be by selectively changing the render order of objects, so that the sub renders on top of the water. This might look junky and I don't really know how much you can modify minecraft's renderer without forcing the player to use other mods that affect it, like optifine or the fabric alternative (forgot its name, sorry). There are probably thousands of tutorials for unity regarding this topic (https://forum.unity.com/threads/hollow-boat-effect.1012723/ for example, basically playing around the z-buffer), but I really have no idea how VS currently works, so please disregard this message if it's total cap. I'm not insulting the devs, I just think that simulating fluids might be too much for minecraft to handle and I believe there are better solutions to this problem. I love this mod, but I also love my pc and I don't want it to burn xD
Can't wait for the sea update!
