Avicii, A Sweden Musician, has passed away yesterday (April 20 2018) at the age of 28. Avicii was an international pop star, performing his well-known electronic dance song all around the world. Avicii was recently nominated for a billboard music award and was previously nominated for 2 Grammys. Please, just PLEASE, Change your Twitter password and enable 2-Step after you change it. This hashing bug can bypass even 2-Step. Change your passwords on every site, as it’s possible that your passwords could be the same on every site. I want your accounts to stay safe, so please change your password. I recommend the password is more than 8 digits long. Thanks for understanding.
If you don’t understand, Here is a backstory: When you create a password, Twitter stores it as a bunch of numbers, symbols, and letters. This bug caused all passwords to be exposed in Plain Text. Anyone can have access to the plain text, if twitter even lets you.

(Prosome and Tirsiak) But please do not worry, they had their reasons for why they left; It's mainly about life and etc. However, we can't really tell you the full details on why they left. Today, Rbx.Rocks was compromised once again, and the project has officially been abandoned.
I'll spare you the details, but if you had an account logged onto Rocks, I suggest you secure that email with 2FA + your Roblox account with 2FA, and if the password you used on Rocks is the same exact password that you used on a different website, CHANGE IT NOW. If you can't remember what password you used, I recommend that you change all of your passwords related to your Roblox account and your Roblox password regardless. All Rocks information was leaked, including encrypted passwords, and although they're encrypted at the moment, there's no telling what will happen to those passwords.
The former owner of Rocks, Baheeg, officially apologizes to everyone who has used Rocks and has shut the website down.
It doesn’t mention it here, but please please PLEASE turn on 2SV (Two-Step Verification). It’s a backup method used by multiple websites and apps, and is really useful if you’re the kind of person that loves his privacy.

Hello folks, I’m sorry to announce but the role True Bacon+ Blue has been removed due to arguments and looking too much like staff roles. We’ve tried other solutions, but they just did not work. As a new rule, arguing about which is better or rioting to have it brought back are now prohibited. In an effort to make the server more manageable, me, Mark, and The other admins have decided that it would be best for regular members to have a command to use instead of plain pinging Alert. The command is simply ?alert. It requires no reason, so DO NOT ADD A REASON. Staff are told to check the alert channel regularly. All you need is proof, and you don’t have to attach it. The proof is the offender in that channel. Just use the command, that’s it. If you ping Alert, You will receive a Warning 2, or even a ban, as it’s not needed. I hope you enjoy this little update to the server.

I suggest you don’t buy anything from the roblox clothing store for now. Someone pwned the roblox website and inserted almost a million knockoff items into random groups for what seems to be 80-95% off the original price. Buying these are against Roblox TOS, and will result in your account possibly getting banned for a few days - maybe even terminated. Hello, @here! I have been thinking of this for a while, but just recently I’ve put this into action.
One thing I’ve observed after being in the server since 2017 and moderating it since February 2018, is that most bans that people receive are inappropriate/nsfw music requests. We do check #music-commands all the time, so these bans are frequent. I have done some research and found that the majority of bans are from bad music requests. (If you want to see actual numbers, ping me in #general).
One goal I’ve had for this server is to cut down on unneeded bans and focus the bans on actually bad offenses. Well, I’ve taken the first step in doing this.
I’ve created a new command: ?musicrequest. It’s a command where you can put the link of a song you want to play, and it’ll post it in an internal staff channel that we have. This will ensure that we quality check all these songs to make sure that there are no rule-breaking themes or words. It’s very simple to use, example:

The bot will pick this up and post it in an internal channel that we actively maintain. Your music will be queued in less than 10 minutes, guaranteed*. I hope that this cuts down on bans. Post more suggestions in #345308586064347136 when you get the chance, we actually use these suggestions.

@everyone Hello fellow 🥓s and 🥗s. We would like to announce a change in the way you can receive specific roles. Similar to the activity contest however this is permanent, or at least for now it is.
We now have level rewards that you can receive by being active in #general and gaining levels to get perks for the server. Here are some of the perks you can receive at different levels:
1⃣ Level 5 = Allows you to be able to play music in the server through the #music-commands. 🎶
2⃣ Level 10 = Allows you to upload images and media to the #general channel. 
3⃣ : Level 25 = True Bacon: Access to an exclusive channel, ability to change your nickname, and a sweet role. 
4⃣ : Level 40 = True Bacon +: True Bacon+ role which contains multiple color choices to customize your role. 
5⃣ : Level 75 = Super Bacon: Super Bacon role which has a really epic invisible color and access to some fun Dyno commands. 🔥
If you already have these roles, do not worry, we won't take them away, however you can also be active to obtain the Leaderboard King/Queen role if you are in first place on the leaderboard 🤑. Only one user can obtain this epic role at a time!!

Also as the staff revamping happens, they might not be permanent, anyone that has just been promoted can lose their roles if they do not meet the requirements later on.

New colors: Cyan, Orange, and Magenta.
We also have added a command for switching role colors. True bacon+, may I introduce...

Usage is as follows: Say ?tbcolor insert role color here, and it’ll give you the role, while removing your previous colors. To remove all colors, simply say ?tbcolor revert.
This command is not for abusing. Failure to comply with the standards set in the true bacon chat and the #❗rules will result in a punishment of some sort.

Hello @everyone So we have decided to make some changes to the leveling system. The cool down and xp is still the same, the cool down is 4 seconds and the XP you gain per messages after the cool down is 2.
For people that have had the roles such as true bacon, and above before the leveling system, they can gain the roles by messages instead of levels if they wish, now without further ado, lets list them!
1 Level 5 = This will give you access to play music in #music-commands in the Music Channel voice chat, the role is called “Music Pass”. 🎵 
2 Level 10 = This will give you access to posting images in #general! This role is called “Image Pass”.
3 Level 35 or 12.2k messages = True Bacon: a sweet unique red role, access to a special channel, able to change your nickname. 
4 Level 50 or 25k messages = True Bacon+: Multiple true bacon+ colors to choose from! We have options such as red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, purple, magenta, white, brown and black! 
5 Level 70 or 50k messages = Super Bacon: You can choose to have super bacon invisible or just have the default super bacon role along with a cool true bacon+ role color! Super Bacon’s also have access to a bunch of fun commands! 😛 
Everyones roles are staying so do not worry as we are not reseting anyone! Leaderboard King/Queen is currently disabled at the moment due to it spamming discord’s API, our audit logs and role logs, we can possibly give it out manually the first in the lead weekly, though!

@here We are halfway through the time allowed for staff apps! 
One change is that the Staff Apps results will be announced on Saturday 11/16, but the apps will stay open an extra day in case any NEW applicant surprises us on the last day. Remember, Nero and I are grading these apps very strictly as this batch has been quite competitive (unlike the ones before), so make sure to actually put in your best effort (One sentence per question is not nearly enough in most cases so keep that in mind). Also, make sure to Appeal your Warnings before the 11/16 date arrives in order to not be disqualified after working so hard to apply. Reapplying for the apps is still allowed but it has to be a huge improvement in order to actually help your chances.

Hello, everyone.
I’m sure many of you have heard of swearing being allowed in this server. And that was true.

When we were discussing this, we failed to think about how this would impact the server in the long term, and that is why we came out with an unfinished, half baked product, a product that for once, I regret deeply.
I, on behalf of the staff team, give my deepest apologies to everyone in the server. We were with you, if you hated the rule. I did not like the rule, and like many of you, I was having second thoughts about it almost instantly. The staff team and I have been discussing this in length, and we have decided to change and overhaul how we think of, pitch, design, engineer, produce, and implement our ideas.
We have created a new quality control standard, which will be implemented in the near future. This also is part of my mission to be a little more transparent about how we pitch and implement ideas.
I will also discuss the new ideas we have in the future. But for now, let’s talk about the changes that are here to stay, and what are going to go. The new activity levels and roles have seen some slight applause, so we have decided to keep that for a 48 hour trial run. Swearing is completely abolished, except for damn and hell. We have also decided to keep the warning system for a trial run as well. Finally, we have decided to keep the #665811032765235211 chat for a test of 24 hours.
Lastly, I want to give my personal apology to everyone about everything that happened today. I am very sorry for putting you all who didn’t want to do this, though this. No one here deserved this, and us as a staff team should’ve thought about this better. I want to make it up to every single one if you, but there’s too much. I hope everyone can find it in your hearts to forgive me for everything I have done.

Quick recap: Someone asked me about my "honest opinion" on them so I saw they had kpop as their discord name so I said "kpop stans bad" Somehow this became seen as "threatening" and a whole bunch of chaos happened.
Sorry for whatever happened here, I am not a big fan of kpop and being asked for an honest opinion i went all out with it. Gonna do whatever it takes to prevent this from happening again.
As for the mod face reveal, that was an image from a PUBLIC YOUTUBE VIDEO. I will tell Kreek to remove that video as others might do what I did.

You may have noticed there has been a severe drop in the staff team. We can’t reveal any confidential information regarding why, however, as much as we will miss and cherish everyone who has been apart of the BACON ARMY staff team, we must begin a new chapter and a maintain a positive mindset. This will have a very strong effect on how we do things around here in the future so keep that in mind. Expect some more news coming soon but as for now, we wish those people the best of the best and I couldn’t have asked for better staff members like them.

Hello everyone, Chnilsson here. I just have an important message to say, I'm really proud of you all including every server member, staff members, donators, banned people, people with warnings. Your roles doesn't change your value, you'll always be worth as much in my eyes. You've all been great and it makes me really happy to see. You may have had bad situations, good situations and even sad situations but look at you... You're still here and that's amazing.
This as a goodbye message for me working here, I've been here since 2017 and it's my time to fully give over my amazing spot to someone else. To all the staff members, you've been amazing even though there might have been situations there, I still love you all as family and friends. And to you the community, you made me feel like I was home. That's a true family if I call one.
I hope you all pursue your dreams and if you fall, don't worry. I'll still be proud of you, I may not be there personally but trust me I'll be proud of you in my thoughts. See you all soon :)
