I don't like the syntax / structural integrity of lua

So if I wanted to make the RΛZΞR chroma wave effect in roblox studio, delaying the script wont work because it just becomes random colors like if I had 10 rgb blocks in roblox studio, and keep delaying one after the other by increments of 0.01 seconds, every block becomes a different color and weird ones. Do I need to set a starting color to tell it which color it needs to become before cycling through all of thhem?
