I'm on board with the sentiment but this argument it's pretty weak IMO
the punishment is excessive for "the crime", sure... but they don't make the laws
if you break their ToS they should be on their rights to stop providing the service (and search compensation)
if you don't like their ToS or the service itself, you just don't use it
using and "breaking" their service (with a modified close source app) and then complaining that they "defend" themselves is a pretty weak argument
but anyway this topic could be a little bit dizzy for this server, so a friendly reminder that we have it as a #rules to don't allow discussions of piracy here, jic...

tos should definitely not be considered law, denial of service is their right but there is a lot of iffy tos out there
eg stuff like "you agree not to use a competitor" and the like is absolute bs, i will 100% use a competitor if theyre better
