Video is a little inaccurate from the get go. It's not about being able to crack current day encryption as the majority of things you'd care about are already using better encryption methods. It's more about the data that's already been stolen that's still very important and is encrypted with older standards.

Yeah but at the beginning it's made out like it's a threat to the modern internet and also during the moments before it's mentioned that the issue is with data that's already been stolen. The assertion is made that things may still not be secure currently (specifically they say "efforts are still underway" or something like that) which when I first watched it (albeit every quickly) sounded like they're saying we're still not secure enough which just isn't true.
