I am an intermediate and have a lot to teach someone in that position. I also have connections with friends in Paraguay, Chile and Spain.

I'm CasualTea and I've been taking Spanish classes for around three years now in school. I'd say that despite a lot of people studying Spanish for four years in high school, no one knows how to speak it even after four years. I think that's kinda lame so I'm going to give it my all to apply myself to the language. I'm planning on a Linguistics major and a Japanese minor, but getting more experience with other languages can't be bad!

I want to learn Spanish as i live in the Sonoran Desert in Arizona, and many many many native Spanish speakers live here. One day I saw a man at the doctor's office struggling to convey his injury to the English speaking front desk clerks, he had been bitten by a dog that jumped a tall fence.
Another passerby came and told the clerks what he was saying so he could get help quickly, which I desperately wanted to do myself, but didn't know Spanish.
Eventually a Spanish speaking clerk came and helped him and the man who interpreted for him.
