Hello, I'm Lantana (my favorite flower)! I'm from the United States but my parents are Mexican. Spanish was my first language but there were a lot more things in English, so naturally English is stronger. Uhhhh, yeah. That Spanish is all I know. I can use the future tense (ir - voy, vas, etc + a + verbo infinitivo) and the preterite perfect tense (haber- he, has, etc + participle). I know vocabulary related to introductions, school, travel, family, restaurant, cooking, home (like chores and stuff), neighbourhood, and the verbs related to them. Some verbs I have 'mastered' in Spanish: ser, estar, tener, tomar, beber, hacer, poder, ir, haber, llamar, and some others. Few new things I need help with: reflexive verbs and much more vocabulary.

Hello. I am a native English speaker and I'm currently learning Spanish. I would say I am at the beginner level in Spanish but it depends. Sorry to be so late. Generally, I'm Rae. It's not my real name, but real life friends call me that too. Generally, the first was Raven, a character from the Young Titans, I liked her for her sarcasm, humor, but Raven also means a raven - a bird, and I'm not like a bird, I decided to shorten the name, and instead of a W in the first letter of the name put V. I think it's cool. I say that because I'm like she's honest to a fault. sometimes it makes people uncomfortable, but when I introduce myself seriously, just know that I don't give a s**t, but chill Im not gonna be mean ;). I used to pretend to be nice, but that was worse than if I told someone what I thought. Now I live my life in harmony with myself (even when im mean i have true frends, who accept me). I've been a metalhead for quite a long time. I have a lot of hobbies. I play guitar, I sing death metal, I read, I write poems/books, I travel, I play sports, I read a lot of scientific articles, mostly related to psychology.... and this is only a part of my passions. I like to talk. Since nobody reads this... I'm done. I often do a dozen or so things at once, but I manage;), why would anyone need sleep. I don't need sleep, because it's a waste of time. It pisses me off that despite my many interests I have to sit and study something I don't need in my life (my ambition and pride don't allow me to get grades lower than 6, unfortunately). I am self-conscious and know what I want to do, but alas, such is life.

I'm spanish native and I want learn eanglish because is a very interesting hobby. I've been learning english for 3 years... (i'm writting this in english but i'm no sure if I'm doing this good) aaaaand... If someone want practice english o spanish with me, it would be very nice.
Mainly I find Listering a little more complicated, both daily or in music, and my strongest point I suppose is reading

principalmente me parece un poco más complicado el Listering, tanto diario o en la música, y mi punto más fuerte supongo que es el reading.

I can get most newspaper articles and catch slow conversations but I do not remember how to conjugate my verbs and need to brush up on vocabulary. Hi! My mother tongue is Spanish, and well I joined this server to talk with gringos and then have a good time. Sometimes I forget that I speak Spanish, but it's funny because I say to myself: "ok, speak in English, and then ok, speak in Spanish" and how do I speak in Spanish? XD. The irony is that 70% of the content I see on the internet is in English (songs, series and videos), although I also like Spanish: 3. With my Latino brothers I am super open and relaxed, but I try not to be so shy with the gringos UwU

If you would like to get help with your pronunciation sounding more "Natural" I suggest you get involved with the "Sesion de lectura" calls. There, natives will ask you to read a short text and correct any wrong pronunciations so you can improve on any mistakes within your pronunciation 🙂 I believe it will help a lot with your Spanish sounding a little more natural. Id definitely check it out! Goodluck
