I am 21 and have moved countries 3 times in my life 😅. Hungary -> England -> Spain.

I speak and understand both Hungarian and english at a native level !
I am an intermediate Spanish learner who’s been falling her way through the Bachillerato system in hopes of attending university (somewhere back abroad !) currently in 2nd year - this leaves me at understanding and conversing (but more so understanding) practical/school related spanish relatively well.
I am hoping to pull together my grammar here and become less afraid of and more understanding in terms of casual conversation (since honestly with where I am I could probably fumble through talking about a scientific paper but not about day to day life 😅.)

I used to speak spanish with my mother when i was younger as my mother tongue is a Latin language and so i spoken and understood spanish, and italian and bc of it i was around alot with my mom but we stopped as the country we were in didnt really like that and so we stopped! Hola! Soy Dora!.... No, I'm a lime learning Spanish. I'm from Kentucky. We have a lot of Mexicans in my hometown. It is becoming increasingly less pragmatic to simply hope whoever I run into from the other land down under speaks English. I already speak Mandarin. English is my first language. I speak enough Spanish to be polite but not much else. I feel like the grammar is probably going to be the hardest part. I'm not intimidated by the social aspects of learning and, in fact, will definitely be going out for rodeos and ranchero at some point in this journey.

I think Spanish is such an incredibly beautiful language. More beautiful than French, even! It's also a very useful language to understand, due to Spanish being one of the top 5 most spoken languages in the world.

Looking forward, my sincere desire is to pursue a PhD in Psychology, and learning Spanish from basics or seeking to combine faith and science for the benefit of the Ummah, by the will of Allah.
