Hi, I'm Carla. I'm technically bilingual, but our family here in mexico won't stop making both me and my sister feel like shit in our current level of Spanish, despite being genuinely somewhat fluent back in the US.

Which is fine, but I love talking to people, especially if they're from Mexico. Hello! I’m George. I’m currently at a B2 level in Spanish and I speak English fluently, even though it’s not my native language. I lived for over a year in Tenerife, so I understand the Canary Islands dialect quite well and I’m comfortable with native speech, including everyday and work-related conversations. I didn’t work in construction myself, but I worked closely with local crews while building a house and renovating an apartment, which helped a lot with real-life Spanish. I want to keep improving my Spanish to better connect with my neighbors in Tenerife and to be part of more culturally engaging circles, where I feel most comfortable in discussions.
