Well, I've been learning English and Spanish, so for me I think both are hard. Spanish is really tricky for the grammar rules, especially the tense, and also to have an accent in Spanish especially with those "RR" sounds.
And if you're talking about the English language it's not better, the language features grammatical rules that are often broken, an alphabet that can confuse people who are used to a character-based system, and spelling and pronunciation irregularities that perplex even native speakers.
For me English is not harder than Spanish, or vice-versa, both are hard, and I think that's a controversial question, but I think both are hard languages to learn.
