i was doing a reading for my phil course and it talked about the solipsists, people who believe that your mind is the only thing that exists because we cant really be sure about anything except our mind. But I'm pretty sure that that theory has a huge flaw in it. Because if your mind is the only thing that exists, it must stil exist somewhere, because if it doesnt exist anywhere then how can it exist. So if you accept that the mind exists then it must exist in some place meaning that there exists at least something outside of your mind.
I know this might be a far shot but do you know much about solipsism and what their arguments are against this.

Why must things exist inside other things? That could just be assumption that you make because everything that exists inside the hallucination in your mind seems to have this property. If things must exist inside other things, are you then arguing that the world itself is infinitely large? If not, at some point, there must be a finite universe that doesn't exist inside some other place, that just is. That may or may not be the case, but it definitely doesn't seem self-evident that an infinite universe MUST be the case.
