Is it normal for guys to pay for everything on a date? I visited Peru a couple weeks ago and went dancing with a girl from a dating app, but she expected me to pay for literally everything. I spent about $80 on drinks for the both of us that night and she even wanted me to give her some money for an uber home lol. Is this normal or did I find someone who just really didn't want to spend a dime? Funny thing is that she would get real excited when I would order her more drinks even before she started drinking it.

i saw her again another night and this time we went to a bar, but my apple pay was declined. I implied to her maybe she could get this round, and I'd get the next one at a different bar since the other one would take apple pay. she looked at me really confused and in the end I had to just go back to my place to get my wallet and pay for everything again lol

Hoy alguien me dio dos litros de sunkist (él fue de compras durante el almuerzo y había un discuento que hacía que fuera más barato si comprabas un refresco así con el resto de tus cosas, y no quería el sunkist así que me lo regaló) y cuando me subí al camión escolar mi amigo me pidió algo de él. Dije que mis labias ya lo habían tocado pero me dijo "no me importa, simplemente échame un poco", y dije que estaba de acuerdo. Pero mi amigo entonces fue a decir que no tenía una botella y que tendría que sacar su sándwich de su ziploc y que yo podría poner el refresco dentro. Me dio el sándwich (ya no lo quería) y le puse un poco de sunkist a la bolsita. Entonces, le di un mordisco al sándwich y en agradecimiento el sándwich me dio asco. Era horrible, y probablemente viejo. Mientras tanto, mi amigo se dio cuenta de que la bolsa tenía unas fugas y estaba goteando sobre el suelo del camión. Las palabras claves: "Mi amigo". Yo no me di cuenta de que esto estaba pasando, así que le devolví el sándwich mientras mi amigo estaba intentando mantener las fuguitas bajo control. Por eso, intentó usar el pan del sándwich para absorbar las gotas. Pero, como he dicho, era viejo, así que empezó a caerse a pedazos, y por eso mi amigo lo dejó caer al suelo. Ahora, mi amigo había comenzado a mamar la teta de la bolsa pero no funcionó porque había demasiado agujeritos. Le dije que había que beberlo todo desde el agujero original de arriba y simplemente sacrificar las gotas caídas en el proceso. Lo hizo, pero fue mal porque seguía riéndose mientras lo hacía, y las gotitas seguían cayéndose. Al final lo bebió todo el sunkist y dejó el sándwich. No fue nuestro momento más orgulloso.

im from the states as well, so it's very widely spoken here. i hear it almost daily, esp in my university. i've multiple friends who speak it, whom i can speak with. and then, it's an extremely practical language to learn, it'll be good for my resume. and naturally, it's a great way stepping stone for french or italian. and, of course, the language is simply beautiful.
