I notice for people that i know that find a bit frustrating that in some channels where people are suppose to speak in spanish can be speaking in english or the other way. So they started to use other discord servers.
I already talked about this, of an indication in each vc of if is in english or spanish, really makes a change. Because it woud put more pressure to respect the language that is suppose to be use.

I think the language requirements shouldn't really be enforced in voice chats. I feel that they could hinder with a person's learning process. A beginner English speaker might join an English vc to practice with native English speakers, and might prefer to be explained some corrections in Spanish. So, maybe, instead of separating vcs by what language people should be speaking there, vcs could be separated by what languages should be learnt there.

OK another topic just came up! Where is the translations channel? There is a text channel for translations but nowhere to concentrate on doing translations. Translation is very important in language learning. There are so many reading channels and people go there and read but they dont understand a word of what they are reading. I know somepeople like to just practice their spoken language but a lot of people have remarked that there is no point in reading something if you dont understand it. I for one have always been prepared to help people with translations and they actually seem to enjoy it. I know the server is a bit cluttered with channels but that is actually the beauty of this server. The choice is pretty enormous. I guess that's what makes it so popular. I have completely abandoned my own servers in favour of this one. Thanks for reading and I hope you can bring back just one translation channel for the gang!

Sapphi, how are you? It seems that in the upgrade to iOS 15 the system changes the ... for a single character … they look the same but the bot doesn’t read it the same. You can see the two characters if you press and hold the key . for a moment.
If you want that to not happen anymore you should go to Keyboard Settings and turn the Smart Punctuation option off. That should fix it!

hey mods. i am not really sure if this is already a thing here, but what do we think about having a bot that automatically posts some info about a common topic? it might be really handy in some of the learning channels and the ask-about-[language] channels. So for example, that vs which is something that a lot of learners have trouble with at first. So maybe I could just send a message "that vs which" and the bot posts a blurb about what the differences are, when to use which one, etc.
