So so far no one has explicitly purposely abused the bot for fun so it hasn’t been a pressing issue for me (the bot developer) to fix

But you bring up a good point about if maybe someone accidentally misspells a word for example and it gets accepted and maybe someone accidentally learns that incorrect spelling

I hate to be that guy since I know you guys already got a lot to handle as moderators of a huge server like this, but I feel like it's about time to bring up an issue that’s been happening in the server for a while now. A certain user has been actively deceiving members by impersonating a real person, a well-known 100K+ followers IG model and fitness influencer.

Their actual identity can be verified through her popular Instagram profile (refer to the screenshot below, as well as its respective translation), proving that this is a case of clear impersonation. This person has used countless stolen + edited images from this models' socials (which you can verify through Dyno’s profile picture log) and fabricated details to create a highly convincing persona, tricking people into thinking they are interacting with someone real when, in fact, it’s all a lie.

Beyond just faking their identity, there has also been a consistent dedication on making frequent sexual and inappropriate remarks (that for whatever reason usually goes hand-in-hand to the presence of considerably long hair on men?) aimed to these same males in channels where that kind of conversation (harassment) simply doesn’t belong.

At this point, it’s become an obvious pattern, and people have just started accepting it as "normal" due to how routinely it has become, when it really shouldn’t be, this situation probably wouldn't have kept happening if the gender roles were reversed. All in all, this whole situation has set an uncomfortable environment for both newcomers and veterans who aren’t expecting these kind of interactions in places that are strictly for learning.

If this wasn't enough already, this person has a significant number of people in their DMs who genuinely believe they are speaking to the real individual in the pictures, in occasions, these messages/conversations end up as screenshots for her REAL Instagram account's (||yes, we found that too||) Stories.

I’ve personally seen conversations where people are completely unaware they are being manipulated, and it’s clear that the user is taking advantage of this fake persona to engage with as many people as possible, I'm not sure nor really care what her real intentions are behind this blatantly fake profile, but that brings me to my next point:

Apart from this whole situation being a clear ethical issue—it’s also a direct violation of Discord’s very own Terms of Service. The platform explicitly prohibits impersonation, fraudulent misrepresentation, and any deceptive identity use. According to Section 18 of the Discord ToS as well as their Identity and Authenticity Policy, users must not:

Misrepresent your identity on Discord in a deceptive or harmful way. This includes creating fake profiles and attempts to impersonate an individual.

Since the server’s own rules clearly state that it must abide by Discord ToS: #📜・rules message, allowing this to continue could put the entire community at risk. Considering the scale of this issue and the number of people it has affected and will continue affecting, I wanted to bring this to your attention before we get to a point of no return. If you need further proof, I’m more than happy to provide all we got (there’s plenty of it!)
