About not knowing who you're talking with, that shouldn't matter as much, but if you wish you can ask the name of the mod on the other side

Anyway, modbot is the preferred and better way to respond to server issues since it keeps all important messages for both sides in one spot, but since you don't seem to want to use it, I'll respond to you here.

We don't know who is exploiting the bot to join full rooms with friends or who is invading other people's rooms against their wishes. We have no way to tell, but we've been receiving lots of reports that users are using the bot to invade other people's rooms in bad ways. Therefore, the only solution I saw was to forbid the usage of the bot in this way. Like I said earlier, I know this makes it harder on you and we apologize for that, but it's the best solution I think. If you'd like, we can open up a thread in #1005620461528436797 and discuss possible other solutions. @kindred oak

Otherwise, I'll assume you will agree to follow the rule for us

Note by the way, the creator of a custom voice channel can edit the permissions of the voice channel, so if you want you can request they add you to the permissions of the voice channel so you can join freely in the future without having to use an &inv command

I think everyone is misinterpreting what server questions means, im assuming this is supposed to be the message a mod channel. Maybe the name might have to be changed since this is starting to become a regular occurrence. I think it’s just the fact the name has questions on it, that it is seen as a general channel for questions. Like Preguntas Sobre el Servidor is understandable what it is for in Spanish.
