As any bot they might get used more in specific moments (/dict, .ud, ;u , ;lb , etc) and indeed it might look spammy but as long as it doesn't last more than a few seconds it's ok, you can ask them to move to #🤖・general-bot or tag the staff it is just being a troll behavior, also I don't get the part of bot commands being used on themselves(?, it shouldn't be a big deal tho, or you mean specifically the quote command

However, they used to be a single channel and were separated not too long ago because although math, science, engineering and technology are similar and related, they are not the same thing and it was annoying to have too many topics in a single channel... all conversations would get muddy and mixed

It's true that we want to try to restrict the creation of many more new channels but at the same time we aim to give the community enough channels so that users can talk about their favorite topics and share interests in a comfortable way, in an appropriate environment. So if it was necessary we will create a new channel. This said, there are other things like threads and the upcoming forum channels that allow us to create more chats without the need of lengthening the layout even more. So yes, it's being discussed. Would you like any of these other options?

Yeah it’s a bug where if it’s in one of those fancy message boxes (called an embed), the android app will not search for who the mention is supposed to be if your app didn’t know it already

It’s weird

Outside of an embed, if I make a ping to someone like @kind river (which looks to discord like just @kind river), discord sees that and tries to look up who that ping is directed to and gives you their name and then stores it in your app’s temporary storage cache, but it doesn’t do that for pings in embeds

So adding the ping below the embed makes your app look it up

On your phone on the right it’ll give you a warning like this. If you click “yes, log me in”, it’ll give your account to whoever made the QR code

But other than that, it’s hard to get hacked with 2FA

Es muy complicado "hackear" realmente a alguien en Discord, porque primero necesitas saber su correo electrónico, y es un valor que sólo lo sabe la persona de la propia cuenta

Para que tomen el control de cuenta es porque o has hecho clic en algo y has iniciado sesión o, has hecho algún tipo de escaneo con código QR

Si evitas todo ese tipo de cosas y, además tienes el 2FA. Se hace casi imposible que te hackeen la cuenta

Por lo que tengo entendido se puede acceder a una cuenta aunque tenga 2FA activado usando el Token de la persona, si intentan con tus credenciales como correo:contraseña es casi imposible... Pero con Token es demasiado fácil. Discord ya ha bloqueado algunas cosas que antes facilitaban el acceso/obtención del token, osea ya solo pocas personas tienen métodos para obtener/logearse a tu cuenta con un Token...

En resumen es posible que alguien acceda a tu cuenta aún teniendo 2FA y Discord lo sabe pero lo niega

Es un número especial que es diferente de tu ID y número que está al lado de tu nombre. En términos básicos tu token es un número que darte todos los permisos para controlar tu perfil y tu cuenta. Si alguien tiene tu token, entonces él/ella tiene control sobre toda la cuenta. Por eso necesitas quedártelo y no lo compartes.
