#Unity spot light gizmo angle not matching shader?

ok so im sending some data to the gpu about a spot light and the data includes its spot angle
actually wait no give me like 5 mins i think i had it wrong the whole time hold on i might not need help
ok so this is the spot angle at 1 radius and this is it at 180
i need to get the angular difference between where the light is pointing and another one to choose whether to render the light
but the angles dont actually make sense
