I wanted to install a Urp Shader for my project, but I missed out on the fact that it was for the 2021 version and I was using the 2020 version. So I deleted the importet files in my hierachy of the game and upgraded the editor version.
I had the error from the screenshot before, but I though it was because of the old editor version. I looked up how to fix it and came across the problem that the render pipeline could be missing (it is). I dont know how to reinstall it, does someone have a documentation or something, thank you all!

Yes that happens to me 100% of the time when I upgrade my project
You can remove the package by clicking remove in down right corrner
After that since you are already in Unity register section, you can just install it right back by clicking import, down right
oooh
Check if render pipline got assigned automaticly, if it didn't click on step 4 and attach it
okay
thank you so much
I couldnt find anything in the internet about it
I will give it a try
No worries, let me know if you have any troubles π
If you don't have any option to select from just create one
this is the one I need to have installed right?
because I cant find Render-Pipelines Universal no more
Yes
Not a problem, thanks, you too! π
I have another problem
when I install this version, and It says completed with errors, can I still start it without any doubts?
Yes, you don't need to install visual studio for each editor version
It will be fine π No worries π
I would just suggest that you start using some sort of version control so that you won't have to worry about project corruption, switching from one editor version to another is perfect time for backups
how would I do a backup?
like with an external usb or something
or is there like a program for it
