I’d suggest do this in blender, if you animate a gun in Unity you’ll have to animate all the guns separately rather than let them use the same skeleton

That is not quite true. Unity animations work just like blender animations - if a rig has the right structure, they will apply to that rig.
That being said, Unity is awful for making animations, so I'd recommend blender for that reason already.

Oh that is good to know 😮 I was under the impression it worked differently as I had difficulty getting it to work but with blender it was pretty fast
