#Terrain clipping though floor tiles

I'm having this issue where the floor is clipping through the floor tiles.

The tiles sit under the walls and the walls sit on the floor (Y=0)
How can I make the flor not clip the tiles?

Note: I'm new to unity, just installed it a couple of day and still experimenting and trying to understand how things work. Tried to search online but was not able to find any help regarding this.

I had a feeling that that was the case.

My floor tiles have some thickness and some of them are deeper (like whiles in the door or pits).

What is the usual way to way implement levers with assets like this? Place everything higher up?

My walls are currently on 0 and the tiles immediatelly under them. The terrain is on 0 too. Should the terrain be always on 0?
