#Help with understanding anchors

I don't know anything about anchors but couldn't you just have the transform.position set to a vector of your choosing and if you need it to move if touched to attach a rigid body to it?
I wrote an explanation on them a while back. It should be pinned in #old_ui_ux

I am pretty sure that they are talking about UI anchors. It's got nothing to do with actually "anchoring" an object in the game world.
And you also definitely shouldn't be combining physics and UI. 
He never said anything about UI but if it is a UI than all good.
The post is tagged "UI/UX" though.
