What to upgrade on my pc for gamedev in unity

My pc is mid to say the least, when I do get the money I dont know what to upgrade first

Realistically? Pretty much everything could use an upgrade

I know its potato

but which one is the best to start

do i do the ram maybe

that shouldnt be too hard with the budget

the pc sometimes lags

when in unity

the monitor is fine tho

and the memory currently isnt bugging me

tho I do plan to eventually buy a laptop

a good one

so Ig I could save up a % of the savings

and eventually

with possible money from gamedev

I should be fine

Why upgrade a pc if you want to get rid of it

Just continue saving then

If you want to keep the pc, continue saving until you can upgrade cpu, ram and gpu. One over the other isn't going to bring too much more performance
