This was not the correct answer. The colors were removed by only using a LP command. They've been added back (another admin helped) with the correct command, again only a LP command, no other plugin commands.
/lp user [ign] parent set group1
this is the correct command for future reference

I mean LP and WG do very different things. LP manages permissions, but it doesn't actually provide any permissions / block anything (aside from it's own commands of course). WG can block various forms of world operation, and for the most part is not affected by LP. 2 exceptions come to mind, WG has a "bypass" permission that allows a player to ignore any region restrictions, and second, assuming Vault is installed, everyone in a group can be added as a region owner/member using the g:GROUPNAME syntax in the commands
(for the reference the messages in that screenshot are from EssentialsXAntibuild, not WorldGuard. WG's block messages are usually "Hey! Sorry, but you can't <action> here.")

First of all: having lp on the proxy is no replacement for needing lp on your backend. Lpb and lpv can only handle bungee perms, but not from backend plugins like essentials for example.
Second, the proxy has no idea about ops or not ops.
Third, ofc ops will be able to tab in anything, on backends, ops are highest, even before any permission manager.
Lastly, luckperms does not control tab complete suggestions. It can only do that if the plugin those suggestions come from are tied to permissions, which in many cases isnt done. Most devs just punch everything into command suggestions regardless of perms

LuckPerms is a well developed plugin. So all the possibilities within this plugin are stated within the Wiki. If it's not there it's most likely not a feature.

LP does not do that directly, it just gives the group. You need another plugin to actually promote the player / run the promote command and keep track of playtime

Last time i used gp is ages ago so try that command in chat first since the syntax is gonna be the same. Once you have that, you can copy the command to tebexusing their player placeholder

Hey people, sup. I have a question, cuz this thing kinda confused me a little bit.
So, I did create groups with prefixes, they work perfectly, they are visible in the chat (using essentialsx chat).
But, while waiting for TAB to update to 1.19 - it made kinda question how do these plugins really work.
Like, will they look up the prefixes from luckperms groups on their own, or do I need to create groups/prefixes within a tablist modifying plugin itself in order to actually see them when pressing tab?

LP will manage permission groups and any prefixes you configure, and makes it available for other plugins to get and display. It's entirely on the displaying plugin's end of how they want to accomplish that
Most sane plugins will just offer a simple prefix placeholder for you to stick wherever and it'll do all the behind the scenes stuff for you
