I've seen that and, as far as I can tell, pretty much all it says is that it's caused by an incompatibility between the client and the server (in other words, there's either something wrong with my server or something wrong with Lucko's server, but isn't very helpful information lol)

Thought I might mention (might be useful), I've also been getting this error since about 45 minutes ago using /lp editor on windows 10, latest paper version, completely fresh server. Disabling the firewall hasn't helped for me either, and I haven't touched any kind of network settings or done any manual updates recently

I seen someone else get the same error a couple days ago too, so sounds like it's something that was changed on Bytebin recently, or maybe some SSH standard has updated and Bytebin isn't up-to-date

If 3 people have got the same issue in the span of a few days after only one other person every getting it in the past couple years, I think it's more of a thing Bytebin needs fixed rather than something we should try solving, sadly
I'll wait a bit to see if anyone else on here has any ideas but if not I'll try putting an issue on Bytebin's Github, since it's the only place I can think of bringing it up

Yes it does. LuckPerms sends your permissions data to this site owned by the owner of LuckPerms called ByteBin to then be displayed on the website
It's not like another plugin or anything, it's just a website LuckPerms accesses when you do /lp editor

LuckPerms on Waterfall is just the same as on BungeeCord and there's minimal difference between how LuckPerms works on Bukkit/Spigot/Paper to how it works on a proxy (BungeeCord/Waterfall). Only noticeable difference is the command is /lpb instead of just /lp
It's not an issue with LuckPerms, though. It's Bytebin's end. But there isn't really a good place to ask for support for Bytebin (if there is one, nobody has told me about it any of the times I've asked). I only ask here because they are owned by the same person, LuckPerms kinda relies on ByteBin, and a few people other than me have also had the same issue
And, as far as I can tell, it's nothing you can fix client-side (client being us), it definitely seems to be a server-side (as in, Bytebin's server) issue

I am able to connect fine from my Windows 10 computer on the same network, but on my Debian 10 machine I get the SSL handshake error with LuckPerms and wget (pinging it works fine, though)

I don't know much about SSL though, and while I'm pretty sure it's server-side, it does confuse me since the certificate states Bytebin is using Cloudflare's SSL. My website (along with, well, most secured websites) also uses Cloudflare's SSL but I am able to connect to that fine from my Debian machine
But my VPS uses Let's Encrypt for SSL and a few weeks ago, I was getting a few errors with that and had to update
