Ok so the problem is that I am trying to make the format for groups be like this "[Owner] [STAR] Super: Hi" This includes owner being the higher priority and then VIP. I added the tracks for each, as you can see from the bold writing. I added all the staff ranks to the staff track and and 1 donator rank (Star) to the donator track. I have then proceeded to put this placeholder into my TAB config in order to make it shows 2 groups that a user is in %luckperms_prefix_element%. Hey, just trying to confirm I understand the best method of handling a Cross-Server setup.
Each server needs LuckPerms to use the same MySQL Database, so Groups can transfer across.
If each Server is using the same Database, the Permissions can get mixed up, if servers have the same exact permissions.
The way to fix this is by applying specific server contexts, to differentiate between each server, right?
I'm trying to confirm I understand this correctly, because I'm creating another Gamemode, and haven't set contexts on my previous Gamemode, so I assume Permissions will clash.

For those wondering what plugin was backdoored, for us it was cracked premiumvanish. It has self spreading malware that infects all other plugins in /plugins directory.
Also for those tinking it was LP: It was not. The plugin just hooked into LP and it did what it did.

I have a problem where i have 3 servers connected via MySQL it all worked fine untill yesterday where if i give a player any rank with the "/lp user (username) parent set admin" it only applies for 2 of the servers. I have found the problem but i have no idea on how to fix it. The problem is that the third server aka Hub server. Stores the information with names and the other 2 uses UUID. The configs are identical except for the "server name". Please help. Sorry for bad english

Still not solved this π I even made a couple Reddit posts on /r/linuxquestions and /r/linuxfornoobs since I assume it's something in the OS but I've tested quite a few similar sites and all work except for bytebin so it's specifically an issue with bytebin. Any ideas for a better place to ask questions about bytebin since I'm aware LuckPerms Discord is likely not the right place

From my experience with Java/Bukkit, itβs unlikely people can help with that error. All this error is saying is that, because of something that has already happened which we canβt see in this error, the plugin was disabled. This probably happened while the server was botting up so check for errors there or post your full log

Thereβs a depedency error which I assume means LuckPerms doesnβt support a version of Java youβre using. At the top it shows Java 11 which is what I use and LuckPerms mostly works for me, but the AdoptOpenJDK version is a v16 so it could be this thatβs causing issues? Try v8 or v11 or OpenJDK

It depends on how youβre hosting the server. I would try what was suggested in support-1 first though as it can be a pain to switch Java versions sometimes whereas switching the type of LuckPerms JAR you use should be a quick fix if thatβs the issue

Question: I have several minecraft servers on different hosting companies not ideal (I know) but they are connected through bungee. If I want luckperms to connect to the sql of one of the servers do I need to give in the IP address on which it is running including port number on the data address? Or because they are in bungee network I could do localhost?
Cause if I do the IP address from the server where it is hosting from including port number and without it gives a lot of errors.

If for example the player is in two groups, Patreon and Immortal, and they both have their own join/quit message, however due to another system Patreon needs to have a higher weight then Immortal, is it still possible for me to prioritize that single permission for the immortal's join/quit message?

I don't see the need for a full server log when the problem doesn't lie on the server- I experience it with wget too, so it's an issue with the way however Lucko hosts bytebin handles SSL that seems unsuported by my install of Debian (atleast without some configuration that I am unsure how to do)
