Hello, I'm developing a Bungee authentication plugin and I'm running into an issue. The plugin is listening to the ChatEvent on the HIGHEST priority to cancel any command and messages sent before authentication. Somehow LuckPerms' Bungee version and the Spigot version bypasses it. Works fine for me 🤷 sounds like a) you're not actually cancelling the event or b) something else is un-cancelling it

Then maybe I messed up something. It is strange because only the lp commands work, but other bungee and serverside commands won't work.. I'll try to get around this problem. Anyways, thank you for your help.

I guess you can try making sure you are up to date? The entirety of the command platform adapters hasn't been touched in ages but who knows..

Also I should mention that if you are able to run /lp (from the server LP, not proxy) that means that the command went through the proxy and was re-sent to the server you are on

So I have this strange bug (or intended feature). When I run userManager.modifyUser() in an asynchronous thread, the inherited group is added to the user just fine, but as soon as I start querying all the inherited groups or run /lp user <username> info, that inherited group is gone. Does anyone have any idea why this happens?

Because i have a network, with bungee and spigot plugins, and i need a permission sync... How can i do this? Like i need to set it up, that if i get admin in "lobby" i also get admin in "skywars" but i also have bungeecord plugins, that i need to use! How?
Should i use the luckperms proxy version for proxy permissions and luckperms spigot for spigot ones?

You need essentialsx or some other core plugin and a chat plugin and vault then if u want it to show in chat add a prefix with /lp group rankakagroup meta addprefix weight “the prefix and colours”

LuckPerms does not perform any chat/tablist formatting of its own!

LuckPerms only acts as the source for prefixes / suffixes, it doesn't actually apply them. You need an appropriately configured chat/tablist formatting plugin for them to be displayed. If the values appear correctly when you run /lp user <user> info, LuckPerms is doing its job!

Not possible, as that would affect every person inheriting from those groups, not only the specific user

The closest you can get is using the lp user .. parent add <group> command instead of parent set

I have given the default group the permission to use warp signs but non ops still cant use them. Hi, I recently downloaded the LuckPerms plugin on my Aternos server running Paper for Java. The server also runs Floodgate, and one of the players is a Bedrock player, and they need to have access to some permissions. I tried using the command "/lp user *(username) parent add member" through the console, but it says that no user exists with that username, and to add a valid username or UUID. I checked the Github, and it said that you have Floodgate compatibility. Am I doing something wrong?

I don't know about a simple way unfortunately, however if you can't find any other way you can do it using DeluxeMenus. It's not gonna be too complicated.
Basically, if they've got the group.(group) permission they can view an item in the menu, and if they click that item it will do /lp user (user) meta setprefix (prefix) where the prefix is the one corresponding to that item group.
Send me a message in PMs if you end up having no choice but going for this, and I could send you an example bit of a config if you want.

Hello, where all permissions are stored and how to access them without opening a link in the browser. My problem is that the hosting where I have this plugin does not allow to upload plugins, only from the list they offer, so I cannot upload permissions from my PC server. Now the question is: if permissions are stored in a file.bd how can I change it to at least .yml to copy past a text from my PC? I found something in config like "storage: h2 " and changed it to YAML. Will it work when I run the server and wil it copy all data to .yaml so I can edit it?

Hi, I have 2 tracks, 1 for rankup and the other for donator rank.

For rankup track: default -> rank1 -> rank2 and so on
For donator track -> default -> donorrank1 -> donorrank2

Whenever they chat, I want to display {rankupRank} {donator rank}: {message}
Users are automatically assigned both the tracks because the first group in the track is default. If it is not named default, users will not be assigned the track. My default prefix is "Iron", but I want to show both the rankup track prefix and donator track prefix, so in chat it will display something like... [0] Iron IGN: Hi

It is not possible to set the prefix as [0] Iron for the default group as that would mess up if the player gets promoted in the rankup track... It would display [1] [0] Iron IGN: Hi
Anyone has any idea how to do it?

Of course, my problem is that when someone purchases a product from the store, it is not given to the appropriate server even though I put exactly this command "lp user {name} parent add vip server=prisionop", what's more, it is given in 2 servers, in PrisionOP and HCF, I would like to be able to fix it since I have had this problem for weeks and it is frustrating 😦

Ive setup luck perms bungee using the guide but im not 100% sure it worked. In my hub server i do /lpb editor changing some permissions I got back to the hub server with the edits and copy + paste them into chat. It does not seem like anything has changed and the placeholders that say my rank stay I default even though its set to owner. (I also dont have the prefix) might i be doing something wrong?

Looking for some help,

I have a rankup plugin I used numbers in the config to make it easier and used Number in lp as the group names as well. I am trying to find a way to display the previous prefix on track. So the plugin shows last rank current rank and next rank, It currently show "Last: 1 Current:%luckperms_prefix% Next: 3" is there anyway to get a placeholder that would fit for that like %luckperms_previous_prefix_ontrack_%. I don't know im just guessing here kinda stuck.

You need to increase the max connections in your SQL server. If I'm right you need to count 10~15 connections for each server connected

How can I prevent this from happening?
[LP] Another command is being executed, waiting for it to finish...

I get why it's happening, but I need some way of getting past it since I need some plugins to execute multiple LuckPerms quickly at once(I could try to delay it but it feels like LuckPerms should be able to handle it?)
For reference, here's once place where I need to execture two at once. Theoretically, I could move one of the commands to execute one second later but it seem unecessary. Also, at other places I can't do that.

Yesterday i merged the database mysql (bungee and skyblock) and all my ranks from bungee were loaded on skyblock. I don't want that, but I want some ranks to have the same permissions and other ranks on the server to stay the way they are.

On /lpb ( bungee ) i have default and Admin rank

On SkyBlock i have SkyWarrior and SkyBorn

Hi, i have a map2create mod (fabric) that is having trouble in luckperms being noticed (and nothing i try is working to enable a user / group to enable the command below), is there anything i can do since it only gives a /mapcreate command, but I want to enable this for users/groups

I'm trying to do the rank thing with the scoreboard, but it constantly tells me I cannot use the '%', I've tried things that I know but they aren't working. Does anyone know how I can actually make it work?

That sounds like an issue with your scoreboard plugin

I've looked through some scoreboard source codes, they've all done it differently. I assumed all I had to do was add the place holder api addon, depend it and then it should've worked, but I'm not sure
