I never had an issue with "/lp user <name> promote" but with one of the recent updates, I got the error above, all users still have the default group, in addition to a secondary group which the promote is for, how can I fix this? should I delete the default group from updagres?

Hey I am trying to follow the tutorial for prefix & suffix stacking but it doesn't seem to be working. I want to have it so if there's a donator it will display the donator prefix and then their rank (I have play time ranks) and the same goes for Discord boosters. I've made a track for all the play time ranks and then 2 separate tracks with just the donator and just the booster. In my config I have highest_on_track_<track> for all 3 tracks but it's only displaying one prefix not multiple ones. Am I missing something?

It is safe to send an editor link in public.

Any changes made in the editor have to be applied using the /lp applyedits command - impossible unless the person with the link is also connected to the server and with the required in-game permissions to use LuckPerms commands. It's effectively just as safe to share an editor link as it would be to share a screenshot of your permissions or a pastebin of a configuration file. The editor doesn't contain any sensitive data (except perhaps player names).

My Question:
I'm on Bungeecord and have a Command to toggle a context value.
For example the command /warp bind to that context to enable/disable the permission and it works fine. (Command Permissions works absolutly fine)
But the client TAB complete is a bit slow... 10 sek up to 5 minutes... Any way to make it instantly?

Rank 1 has essentials.spawn perms (context server:server1)
rank 2 has rank 1 as parent group
rank 2 doesn't have the perms to essentials.spawn

LuckPerms does not perform any chat/tablist formatting of its own!

LuckPerms only acts as the source for prefixes / suffixes, it doesn't actually apply them. You need an appropriately configured chat/tablist formatting plugin for them to be displayed. If the values appear correctly when you run /lp user <user> info, LuckPerms is doing its job!

When starting my server, everything works fine for a while, then everyone gets disconnected for "logged in from another location"

I check the logs and LuckPerms spits this error message out when anyone attempts to join

Exactly my point is that when a player runs out of premium rank given on time and he gets the range default again, luckperms activates the command for example / nick off for that player to clear his nickname.

you can specify both a duration and a specific time (seconds since epoch (you can google that :^) )) but there is no such thing as "today at midnight", from both of those the closest you'll get is the specific time since epoch but you have to, well, it's a different value each day (more specifically 86400 additional seconds)

Ehm I think the documentation of NodeRemoveEvent isn't right?
It says Called when a node is removed from a holder.
But by testing it appears to still exist in user.getNodes(NodeType.INHERITANCE) during the NodeRemoveEvent being called, so its not removed but instead queued to be removed?
EDIT: Oh /lp user <user> parent remove <group> throws an error on LP-side: https://pastebin.com/miYE0CrG
But it does remove the group from the user, but after the NodeRemoveEvent was handled.

Hi I'd like to ask about some problems I have with the plugin. Whenever I try to add a permission to the default role group in our private survival server of like 20 people, it always resets the next time we log on and /msg, /mail, and other plugins I tried making available to my players would work the first time and then just stop the next time. I've just resorted to /opping everyone which kinda messes up the whole experience. Is there a way to make every change permanent?

I have an small Network. on all Backend servers + Proxy Luckperms is installed. all Servers are synced by an MySql database. so the ranks are all the same on every server.. but the problem is.. if i change my rank, the rank will be updated for me on all servers but in the tablist and in chat i still have the player prefix. not the owner prefix. why is my prefix not updating?

Seeing someone is useing the other support channel so I will ask here, I just finished setting up LP where I installed it on my Bungee Server and have 3 (paper/spogot) servers that are ment to communicate with eachother, but sadly its like DeluxChat & Chatex cant "grab/get" the permision from the LPB. running it on a database, but other pluggins seams not have any issues, its just my chat that that is not working. (I also installed the API) since planning to use the it anyways, but still no luck

Is there any way to sync player rank with another player?

for instance, Player "Notch" has rank Moderator. and he also has an alt account "Gaben" that we want it to sync with his alt account so when he is promoted to Admin on "Notch" account, he will be also promoted on his alt account "Gaben" automatically. ?

I dont believe theres any public plugins that allow you to do that, you would have to make it yourself

could be a security issue as well for your server though, I probably wouldnt recommend doing that unless you are sure players wont make other players accounts their alts and stuff

Hello! I would like to remove dynmap commands from the autotab but using luckperms (removing the permission) does not seem to do it. Moreover editing the help.yml file does not do it either. Is there anyway to do it or have I missed something?
