styled-chat is basically cancelling the chat event entirely, and then broadcasts its own formatted message manually to the console and all players, so the discord integration mod never even knows about the chat message

the way we considered is that instead of using using, for example, mysql as your storage backend, it would be some paid "cloud" (for the lack of a better word) service that both your server and the editor can connect to directly
that is the only sane way to do it really
but a) I don't wanna be responsible for the only copy of your permissions data and b) I don't think many people would use it (it would need to be a paid service to be worthwhile)

wait my admin just dmed me what we need help with.
