For some reason users on my survival server have the world=survival context (I check with /lpb user <> info) instead of server=survival. How can I fix this?
Also the name of the server is set to survival in the config.yml

when you check with lpb, it returns how the proxy sees user and group permissions. For the proxy (lpb) the server context means other proxies, and the world context means servers under a proxy

so lpb will say world, but it means the same thing as lp's server context

then what you do to make this easy to understand and operate is just use lp commands on the backends - they all affect the same database in the same way

you can use server and world contexts as expected

just when you try and look with lpb commands, server becomes world

you don't need to use world contexts at all, unless you for some reason really want to add a permission from the proxy console with an lpb command, in which case world context when set from the proxy would be a server to the backends

Is there any potential issues I can run into having a server on my network on a separate luckperms database? It has its own ranks and stuff and I have tried merging them and using context but it's just too overly complex and doesn't work well for me.

Unfortunately not all of those are items honey, some are blocks exclusively (e.g. CARROT v. CARROTS, the latter is the block type)
Hopefully this will change soon though, they were trying to separate block types and item types into their own registries instead of stuffing all of 'em into a single "Material" list
