Thats not a CentOS flavor, its basically a unstable release of CentOS, the stream release aims to be the beta version of CentOS ( well now RHEL ) its compareable to fedora

You actually don't want that. The whole point of Server distros is having slow package updates, because of that packages are very carefully reviewd, tested and then released, but if you push out every update instantly it is just a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. Imagine the Hard Drive driver getting updated, but the unstable version has a very specific bug that causes the drive to permanently fail after 3600 hours of runtime ( this actually happened with HPE SSDs )

😒 so just a general question. I'm trying this plugin called reward able activities and it had a config file that stated when you break a block/kill a mob it will trigger a server command to say player killed mob or broke block... I removed those from the config and relaunched etc but it still shows up...? When I disable the plugin all together that doesn't happen. There isn't any commands I've seen for this so just curious if anyone knows if there's something I'm maybe missing because I lack experience in code? Context is basically just some requirements that have to be met for a permission to apply. So, if you add the permission essentials.tpa with a context of server=smp for instance, whenever the tpa perm is checked, LP would first see if the player is in the server named smp. if they are, then it says they do have that permission. If they aren't, it doesn't

Im not even sure if I am asking the right discord, I use luckperms and autorank for a smp server, I just installed autorank with the correct commands, and I am geting an error that my permission plugin is not recognized for the autorank, I use 1.16.4 and does luckperms support spigot 1.16.4

OVH on the other hand did inform me that they believe a drive of my server will fail soon and that they would like to perform a hotswap or coldswap if I preferred that

Monitoring hardware is task of the system administrator, which is you. The fact that OVH is able to monitor your hardware means that they either

Access your server at random without your knowledge
Have software installed that reports the hardware status to their system
Have a ipmi interface, which hopefully is only available network internal since it is very easily hack able

Monitoring your drives is not really hard, and a lot of monitoring services ( e.g. Nagios, Zabbix ) come with pre-setup hardware monitoring, you just need to install smartmontools to view the smart state of the harddrives. I prefer to secure my system myself and not rely on others to tell me when something is breaking, and that's not something bad 😛

I can 100% agree on that. I luckily only had to deal with a dead drive once. Only issue was the process to restore the raid, it took 2 days and during that time the server was slow as fuck sinde the drive couldn't properly read

Hetzner gives you used hardware unless you pay extra for freshly new drives
