The plugin I am having problem with is, Residence. I have give the permission as what it says it group.yml file into LuckPerms, save it and applied the edits. The applying went through, but my residence group when I do, /res limits it still shows as the default one and not the group that I have applied it for. Anyone of you has encountered this problem using this plugin before?
They don't have a Discord, and Developer seems to be a little inactive to replying questions asked on Spigot chat

@muted topaz Looks like the default config? Have you edited anything in there. I noticed your "spawn" alias, mentions the /mvspawn command. I believe that the player needs the permission to run the command the alias is running unless you force the command to be run as console and to use the player executing the command as the "target" I.e you need to be able to run /mvspawn in order for it to work with an alias as well.
also how are you setting your permissions for the commands, what node are you using

Players have not got access to the time command, only night or day, so they can't set a specific light level. I have given them the /day /night alias permission, and force the command to run through console as to bypass the players not having access to time control in general.oh i thought i could make it disregard the perm and make the alias work just like that

separate plots is the simplest as well as the most popular way - you can fit a huge amount of players into a single server, and there are lots of tools available to fine-tune their experience. PlotSquared in particular is made by the same people who make FAWE, so they're ultra compatible with each other.
Some downsides are that plot worlds give off a very cramped feeling, especially when lots of players build near each other. They also are very subject to shenanigans caused by players: without proper countermeasures a single player could spawn a bunch of entities / TileEntities / redstone and ruin the experience for everybody.

separate worlds (aka Multiverse) is a great choice if you want to give players a ton of room and free reign to build. I'm not aware of any plugins that currently support automatically giving each player their own world, but I imagine there are a few out there. With separate worlds, space is no longer an issue - each player doesn't have to be subjected to potentially unsightly builds left by others.
downsides to this method are that without extra precautions, each player could take up a lot more of a system's resources - you have to load an entirely separate dimension for each player, resulting in not being able to profit from shared chunks. You also still face the issue of malicious players potentially being able to create lag for the rest of the players.

lastly, you could use some sort of orchestration tool like pterodactyl - or make your own (glhf) - and start up a new server instance for every player, where they can do whatever they want. On the surface this seems similar to the previous method, but it has a few benefits. Not only do you get much better isolation - meaning even if one player decides to cause a ton of lag, nobody else is affected - you can also spread the total player load across multiple machines, making it perfect for large operations that are held in the cloud.
the downside to this is obviously the large jump in resources allocated per player; you'll probably have to commit a gb or more to each player server if you want them to use worldedit. (not to mention the huge time investment if you want to use a non mc-specific orchestration tool... i'm 1 month in and counting)
