well you can use lp autoop - its an option in config
it basically grants OP via a permission node, and not the vanilla /op
but if you want to use vanilla /op, they'll be able to do anything just because thats how /op works

That may be related to the CPU power, if the servers CPU is not powerfull enough, it is not able to process all ticks and needs to skip them

Does anyone knows the plugin that works similar to movie "in time" because we want to try to create factions that is based only on time. So you are able to pay/sell/gain only with time. When time runs out you die and get banned
When you join the server you will get x amount of time. When you vote you get x amout of time. Each kill, kill assist gets you time but if you die you lose time
You can only buy stuff with gained time, same for selling and giving time so that means no coins, money but only time. You can save someones live with loaning or giving time to this player
Watch movie or clips "in time" and you will see what i mean with this

Guys i need advice or help really bad idk whats happening
So basically we have been working on our server for about 8 months now, its a full network with hundreds of features etc and yesterday this guy joined called “ipwl” with a really strange IP it was something like 127.0.0.1 and our server is whitelisted as it is still under development. So I checked the whitelist and that account wasnt whitelisted, so that was weird but then today someone joined when we were offline and gave one of the beta testers 2billion and 600 levels and killed him, which is extremely scary cause this means someone has backdoor access to our server! What do i do?

and i looked the ipwl guys name up and it stands for IP-whitelist, could that be something to do with it, he also has 32 searches a month on name mc so he must be doing this to other servers too

127.0.0.1 is a local IP, your network propably allows direct connections to the backend servers ( the gameservers ) so a user used a local bungee co connect to your network, that way he can fake his UUID and Name. You need to secure your backend servers

Hello, dont know were to ask, Im having a problem with luckperms. When a player dies, a plugin executes the command /team leave @s, removing that player from the custom team. This only works with ops, for any reason so I want this to work with everyone. If I add the permission minecraft.commands.team to everyone, they would be able to leave the team or delete teams. How could I solve that withouth giving that perm to everyone? Thanks ^^

@green orchid the DB is not configured properly in your LP config or in itself - make sure that you've inputted all necessary info in order for LP to establish a connection to the DB
@mint cave its probably the plugin that executes the command not applying it to non-ops. If you find the plugin's permissions, there should be one that you can add to the group everyone's in that will make it so the command is run for evryone

Because in most cases the issue is the database server not binding to the correct IP. If the database just listens to requests from 127.0.0.1 for example, you wont be able to connect from as example 10.0.0.1.
tl;dr: Check the mysql configs in /etc/mysql if there is a adress bind to 127.0.0.1 and change it to 0.0.0.0

So if the mysql server is not on the same computer you are running the client on, then you need to put the IP of the computer that runs the MySQL server instead of 127.0.0.1
(btw localhost means the exact same thing as 127.0.0.1)

I'm gonna suggest it is probably because you're using CraftBukkit, which no one uses these days. Upgrade to Spigot or preferably Paper.

if basic perms you want is most of the perms in minecraft (e.g breking blocks etc) you can give default all perms and turn off admin perms
