Um, i've never heard of a Luck First system, however, you should consider forwarding your storage system LP error to one of the support channels and check your server logs. The root cause of this issue should be stated at the top of your latest.log file.

Has LuckPerms been exploited/hacked?

Most certainly: no. In most cases a 'LuckPerms exploit' is a simple case of human error, which can be avoided easily. Look below for some tips to be on the safe side.

Don't give random people full ( * ) permissions / admin permissions

While this should be obvious, a lot of times a exploit can be traced back to faulty permission settings. You should always take your time with permissions and read the plugin documentations. In 99% of all cases the plugins have documentations explaining each permission, in the rare case that the plugin you are using does not have a documentation, you could still:
A: Ask the plugin developer for help
B: Use LuckPerms verbose functionality ( !verbose )
C: Select a different plugin with proper documentation.

Do not run your server/network in offline mode

If you are running your server or network in offline mode, hackers have it really easy to steal your, or any other admins identity. While the server is in offline mode, certain checks ( which exist to prevent exactly this ), are being skipped, and the server does not verify if the person joining actually is the person they claim to be. While there may be plugins which increase the security of offline mode servers by adding things such as admin codes, you should just switch it to online to prevent the issue in the first place.

Do not download plugins from shady websites / sent by friends

You should never put anything on your server which has not been downloaded by yourself from official sources. Plugins can be infected with malware which injects itself into all other plugins, and thus is hard to remove. While it may look like a plugin has been hacked, you most certainly downloaded a modified version of it and it is not the plugin authors fault. In case your server has been infected by such malware:

1. Stop the server
2. Delete all plugins in your plugins folder, and just to be safe also the server jar file
3. Re-Download all plugins and server jar files from official websites such as SpigotMC or official plugin websites ( luckperms.net for example ).
4. Check if there have been any modifications to the permission system and remove unknown users and wrong permissions.
   if you follow these steps you should have a clean server by the end, without exploits.

that is a bandaid fix to the problem that can easily be worked around. what if your owner group has * perms? should lp also limit that? what about giving luckperms.*? that is effectively * for a lot of purposes since if you dont have permission for something you are trting to do, you can just give yourself permission. the solution to this isnt figuring out how lp should handle those, its figuring out how someone was able to run a luckperms command with permissions in the first place

I was checking outside of the server public mojang API, I am curious, Luckperms logs with one Id and sends a user ping with a different id, I was trying to find what actual UUID associated with user was

I don’t actually know enough about how geyser/floodgate works to know if the bedrock uuid actually means something or if they are just made up on the fly. I’d imagine its using an XUID, which is probably not returning any information on the same api

That's expected behavior, no.

The dropdown in your web editor does not include a full list of available permissions for the current server the editor session was generated from. They're just suggestions.

This being said, you may add your permissions manually without relying fully on the permission suggestions.

Thing is, I can configurate/code anything to do with Minecraft but when it comes down to luckperms or any chat configuration (like the luxury plugins if you get me) then that's where I completely lose it which is why I get so confused when it comes to thaat. I happen to be biased towards EssentialsX, but I stand by the fact that you should use whatever resource suits your server best. While both are chat formatters, LPC supports PlaceholderAPI placeholders in chat whilst EssXChat doesn't.

You'd probably be best off comparing the two plugins yourself and see what features align with your server's needs and preferences.

You're supposed to create and pull prefixes from LP, instead of hardcoding them directly into your group format setting in your chat plugin.

I have a Velocity server with 3 paperMC servers. Is it possible to install LuckPerms to the Velocity server and any permissions defined there are propagated to the other servers? So only one of my Paper servers have world edit, and I only want to give permissions to certain people.
