Plugins can be infected with malware which injects itself into all other plugins, and thus is hard to remove. While it may look like a plugin has been hacked, you most certainly downloaded a modified version of it and it is not the plugin authors fault. In case your server has been infected by such malware:

1. Stop the server
2. Delete all plugins in your plugins folder, and just to be safe also the server jar file
3. Re-Download all plugins and server jar files from official websites such as SpigotMC or official plugin websites ( luckperms.net for example ).
4. Check if there have been any modifications to the permission system and remove unknown users and wrong permissions.
   if you follow these steps you should have a clean server by the end, without exploits.

IP forwarding should be enabled if you don't have it - this allows the proxy to properly send data like UUIDs and IPs back and forth with the backends.

If you're using bungeecord, something like bungeeguard (Please remove default tokens, we've seen issues with that being used as well) to kick players trying to connect to the backend, and unauthorized proxies. Velocity has this feature built in called "modern forwarding"

• Using a plugin, yes. For instance, EssentialsX provides a permission for keepinv which you can assign to your groups/users.

• Not sure if there's any game rule for that, however, that could also be achieved with a plugin.

I'm pretty sure you're referring to prefixes not showing up in chat. If so, check the output of /lp user <user> info and see if the rank defined shows there. If it does, LuckPerms is doing its job providing the prefix and it's up for your chat plugin/mod to format the chat and actually display it.

I have a problem. I wanted to use the forge version along with a pack of mods that I made myself, but a crash occurred on the console and I got an error only with LuckPerms. I already tested the mod pack beforehand and made sure to review every aspect. I also tried it in single player and it tells me that it is loaded, but it doesn't let me use the commands. I don't know what I'm doing wrong or what's going on.

How to stop PVP per Group?

You could use something to sync groups into teams and disable PVP within a team.
The team setting is friendlyFire: true per https://minecraft.wiki/w/Commands/team
You'd just need something that can sync LP groups with in game teams, that's simple enough with a lightweight datapack.

It isn't. Spigot page is behind on versions. But the Build jobs does have it. I was trying to find that earlier but couldn't. Might be due to being sleep deprived. Will check it out and see if it the other versions works

One of my admins had posted in here. We had tried 5.4.113 and continued to crash on boot. We had tried on .112 as we had that downloaded still as well. Continued to crash on boot. Therefore we decided to go back to a version that on the site indicated that it was made compatible with 1.20.2. Just waking up so still haven't tried it yet. WIll let you all know.

Its best that you watch youtube videos before even setting up a server. This is how i would do it:

1.) Watch videos on creating a server and setting one up (don't do anything but watch videos in this step)
2.) Once you watch a few videos, try setting up a server with videos along side it
3.) Test that server make sure it works and you got it
4.) Delete that server
5.) Setup a server without help or watching videos
6.) Test the server
7.) Once you are done testing, fix things that need to be fixed
8.) Test again
9.) Now ask for help for things you are stuck on
10.) Fix it
11.) Do it again, and or add more plugins and mess around and learn
12.) Once you feel comfortable, delete that test server
13.) Make an actual server and config and do everything and release

UUIDs are unique and permananet to your account. You can find any account's UUID on this website by searching their username https://mcuuid.net/

Also, serverside nicknames have no effect on the Mojang database. The only situation where a name could be a problem on your server is if it's an offline server

I would review what plugins you have installed and either read the docs available for them (if they have good documentation) or just try to think about what each plugin does and if it would override vanilla spawn functions. The first thing that comes to mind is something like Essentials Spawn. It might be as simple as a single config line that needs to be toggled

Check your plugins. Some plugin may be restricting players without sufficient permissions to modify their ender chests.

Make a binary search to locate the culprit if you haven't already.
