So I have managed to get the plugin running, and my group can even get the weather change done.
And I have made //wand possible from WorldEdit/WorldGuard with:

But whenever I try: //expand 10 up after initial selection, I get:

That's a symptom, not a cause. Either your server's lagging significantly (to the point that it's running out of threads), or your system's clock is so messed up it can jump 50 seconds

Ive got permissions group set by discord roles already which are correctly weighted however ive been having issues where some players have no discord roles set and even though theyre still linked to discord, theyre being left in the "guest" group which is extremely limited

The coloring and formatting is done in essentials chat, not by luckperms. Remember that lp only gives prefixes to other plugins requesting it, but lp will never change your chat by itself

The command isn't wrong, it's just that you can easily format it per group in esschat rather than prefixes.
Also one tip: you used 1 as weight for the owner prefix. This could become an issue later on if you have multiple groups on you and all have the same prefix weight - it may not display owner prefix, but rather whatever was last added to you.

Absolutely. You should never switch between online and offline mode. (Completely unrelated to LP), players who were in the server before will lose all of their progress. Inventories are saved with uuids, any decent plugins stores userdata based on uuid. Those change when you run cracked. The hassle isn’t worth it, I’d just avoid it at any, and all costs

- On both Mysql/Sqlite luckperms uses a lot of cpu !
- I tried on 1.12.2/1.16.5 java 11/java 16
- I got a dedicated machine, ping between server and database is 0ms, I'm using nvme SSD.
- Using latest dev build
- I got 30 ranks
- I got 100 online player and 3500 player in database.
- Each player get 50-150 permissions (it depends on player but common player get 100 permissions yes)

- There is a command to do so, but you specify duration differently
- That will give them the permission to run
/flyfor a set duration, but will not take them out of fly mode once the permission expires

hey, been using luckperms for years without issues yet today when I wanted to configure a new server by adding a group using the web editor everything works until the end-user wants to use any of the commands I gave them permission to use. not only does he not have permissions the output says

Essentials wouldn’t be overriding LuckPerms as EssentialsX isn’t a permission manager. Make sure you have all permissions to the group to use the command you need, and you only have 1 permission manager.

In what context groups are set is not up to the groups themselves but more so to the command you do. If you do not use context, the rank will be on the player globally. However, they will only sync across your network if you have all lp instances from each server hooked into the same remote database.

That is the command to do it globally.
/lp user zero parent set owner (is global)
/lp user zero parent set owner server=survival (only applies owner on survival server, so not globally)
Keep in mind that 'parent set' deletes other groups from the user and sets that single one you specify in the command. This can become as problem if your ranks don't inherit down in the form of a 'ladder' or you didn't add every single permission that regular players have to the helper rank. If you didn't do either of these, it is likely that your helper does not have permissions that even the default group should have

Hello everyone, I have a problem: I set up kits on the essentialsx plugin, create kit, write lp editor, go over and add the "essentials.kits.start" right, save and apply. I give myself a default and write "/ kit start", in response I get: "you do not have permissions to use this command", which I just didn’t try, and I created new kits, but nothing helped. It's reading plugin perms fine, it's actually working spectacularly as far as I can tell, once it gave me the real yaml files. lol I'm guessing it's probably a mohist issue, I've heard some not good things about it but there's nothing else out right now.
