Add group weights with weight.0 , next up weight.10 and so on. My personal advice is to start at the default with zero and go in 10-steps up. Do the same with prefixes. Default group should have prefix.0.Name, next higher group prefix.10.Name and so on

Here's an example of what it should be like. all of the groups are weighted by 10, and the prefixes are also weighted the same.
my prefix is prefix.120.<prefix> and my group is weight.120

Ok in that case yeah store the "legacy" prefixes using meta, and then it's fairly trivial to display it using PAPI or the luckperms API

i.e. /lp group default meta setprefix 1 &#0000001.16!, /lp group default meta set legacy_prefix &01.15!, then can display using %luckperms_prefix% & %luckperms_meta_legacy_prefix% using PlaceholderAPI for instance

So, I see in your logs what you mean. Honestly I've never fully understood why or when luckperms throws this error. What you can try and is always a good measure is to update lp. The spigot page does not include the newest version.

Good idea. So the initial Error was this [LuckPerms] Command execution [editor] has not completed. Trace: (a lot of bla bla after that) which halted the server. Nobody could connect.
First, the user updated their luckperms version from the official website (use !download to let clippy give you the link) since spigot isn't up to date. After that, they had the same error. So I advised for updating their paper version, so they did. After updating paper, the user had the same error, however the server did not crash anymore. I asked them to show me a picture of /lp info, and sure enough, the storage method they used was mysql, showing a ping to the database of almost 200 ms. I asked them to switch their storage method to h2 to see if it has to do with that and yes, the error went away.
It was basically caused by the slow connection to the database.

This is not the only reason it could happen. It is also possible that (if it never worked to begin with) the host blacklisted the editor, like many other, if not all external connections/links for 'security reasons'. In our case, Fantom used the editor before with the same setup, which told me it was not that.

It is safe to send an editor link in public.

Any changes made in the editor have to be applied using the /lp applyedits command - impossible unless the person with the link is also connected to the server and with the required in-game permissions to use LuckPerms commands. It's effectively just as safe to share an editor link as it would be to share a screenshot of your permissions or a pastebin of a configuration file. The editor doesn't contain any sensitive data (except perhaps player names).

for some reason my Luckperms works on the rest of my network except the lobby server. Ive tried multiple different databases which all work fine with other luckperms instances, etc but only this one server doesnt seem to work. The console says luckperms-hikari - Connection is not available, request timed out after 5000ms. which i dont understand as every other server works fine.

Since fabric alone does not add the typical vanilla permissions and commands, you won't be able to use those unless you have the addon. So yes, you will need something that has those commands

LuckPerms requires several libraries in order to operate. If you're getting a startup error such as NoClassDefFoundError, ClassNotFoundException or "Unable to load dependency...", stop your server, delete the /plugins/LuckPerms/libs/ directory and start it up again.
