And now the problem is that despite the fact that the servers are connected to the database, I save everything etc. but that I will add in / lpb editor server global, the player does not receive a global rank, i.e. VIP on all servers the same for a particular server.

Do I have to set server: global in all configs?
Because from what I know then synchronization will take place and I want each server to have a separate interpretation of permissions, i.e. if someone has the rank of Helper on SkyBlock, then that he would not have it in Survival when changing this option to global.

yes, but it's a two steps process

Hey, does anyone know how I can update my perms to an .sql file backup? We switched dedi's today and we store the data on MySQL as a result of not exporting the data beforehand we lost all of our permissions. However our system admin was able to restore a .sql file backup of the perms but when trying to upload it via the luckperms command it's an invalid format. Is there any way I can upload a .sql backup?

If you copied the folder, and you have a remote database, then yea, the db settings from the config were copied as well, resulting in both servers using the same db.

Doesn't have to be done manually, however im not aware of a function that you described. You can handle this different ways though. All you need is a trigger which can execute commands, such as a voucher that executes the command when players click it to claim it, or a menu, there are lots of possibilities.

It indeed appears that there is no prefix for that group. Ensure that you are using the correct command to add one, however for fairly new users and a better visual i suggest using the lp editor so you can see what is happening a bit better.

Hey! Looking for some help with an issue I'm having.

I want to assign essentials.kit permissions to certain ranks within our server but don't want the previous ranks to be able to use it.

So for example, I want:
Rank 1 essentials.kit.rank1

It is safe to send an editor link in public.

Any changes made in the editor have to be applied using the /lp applyedits command - impossible unless the person with the link is also connected to the server and with the required in-game permissions to use LuckPerms commands. The editor doesn't contain any sensitive data (except perhaps player names).

You can temporarily disable all jar files by renaming them to .jarX. As long as you don't yeet the folders, nothing gets lost and you can do a clean restart without those other plugins and without having to delete anything

You can implement any other plugin that can execute commands. So let's say a sign or a gui, when a player clicks it, money gets taken and the command gets executed. However, again, you need a third party plugin that supports commands for triggers.
