^Yep. Either assign a whole group in world context, or, if permissions are the same, just the prefix differs, then you can just use the prefix in context. Depends really what you want to do.

Sorry for the late response, it is updated when doing that command, but the luckperms_player only updates if the rank is set and not added. I'm using the database to sync minecraft ranks to discord but the issue is that the database is still showing ranks as "default" because they were added instead of set.

I use DeluxeChat, but if you're using the {GROUP} placeholder for the chat, try setting this permission: displayname.&(color)(rank), so something like displayname.&7Default

If that doesn't work, you might need to manually format each group in the essentials config:

Plugin authors (/server software) can define the value of a permission node for a default state: by default that default state is false.
So in most cases if you don't give someone a permission, they don't have it.

Ive been using Command Control (https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/commandcontrol.76/) to setup my /server navigation which requires the permissions to be in the bungee file. They were before adding luck perms, and Ive added them to the luck perms permissions for the users. However, my players still cant use the commands?

What's up, I have some problems with Luckperms, every time I try to use lp editor I get an error, https://pastebin.com/j7casGCw. I have the latest (5.3.48) luckperms installed. What's weird is that somehow the chat prefixes do work. All the issues occurred after switches SQL databases. can't really help on offline mode networks, there are a billion things that could go wrong and there are a lot of open possibilities for UUID spoofing, something that is waaaaaaaay out of the scope of LuckPerms

LuckPerms only acts as the source for prefixes / suffixes, it doesn't actually apply them. You need an appropriately configured chat/tablist formatting plugin for them to be displayed. If the values appear correctly when you run /lp user <user> info, LuckPerms is doing its job!

Your server is infected with a malware called Hostflow. It's highly infectious - you install one infected plugin, and then Hostflow will automatically spread into every single plugin. Don't know where it started, but did you install a JAR a friend gave you or anything? They might have an infected server without even knowing it and then gave the JAR to you without knowing, and you installed it and now you are infected too

That's not quite how it works, but as long as the groups you own "override" the prefix from inherited groups, you should be able to pull that off somehow, I can't think of a setting off the top of my head but I'm fairly certain you can

LuckPerms only acts as the source for prefixes / suffixes, it doesn't actually apply them. You need an appropriately configured chat/tablist formatting plugin for them to be displayed. If the values appear correctly when you run /lp user <user> info, LuckPerms is doing its job!
