Not true. EssentialsX (I'm 99,9% certain here) is providing that permission check/restriction. It's never LuckPerms restricting players.

Pretty sure there's none and i'm not aware of a plugin/placeholder expansion that would return amount of players inside a group from the top of my head.

Try using /lp user <user> clear instead (or replace the <user> argument with the a player's UUID). That'd be my only suggestion, besides enabling online-mode in your server.properties file.

Ok try stopping the server, moving the currently broken database file (plugins/LuckPerms/luckperms-h2-v2.mv.db) to somewhere else, restarting the server, and /lp import broken. Theoretically that should create a new database file and load all the data it was able to export from the prior command.
Once that's complete, see if all your data migrated properly

Fabric doesn't have vanilla permissions built-in. You'd need to install a vanilla permissions mod for Fabric that would provide permissions checks behind commands such as /ban.

That's a common misconception. LPC Spigot page has a message at the very end stating the above. ^

Hello there. I have a minecraft server for myself and my children, about 7 people on at max at one time. I have installed LuckPerms in order to solve a problem with not being able to teleport via waypoints in Xaero's minimap mod without being an op according to a reddit post I was reading. However, they didn't detail anything useful aside from the mod they used (this one and the minimap mod we're using). I want to be able to teleport, but not have to give all my children op status on the server. Essentially. That's the only use-case I have with it. I installed LP and changed the storage to yml according to the instructions in the guide. The rest, I'm at a loss for. I just want to I guess make a group? for whomever joins the server that can use the tp command but not break my server.

Your goal here, from what i can understand, would be locating the proper permission for users to teleport to the waypoints and assigning that permission to the default group - which is assigned to any user on your server (first time joining, or non saved.). Your childen will, most likely, be on the default group so assign any permission on there.

LuckPerms is a permission manager. It doesn't allow/restrict users from executing commands.
What have you tried so far? How are you removing permission for /kit?
I presume your kit plugin assigns its kit claiming permissions by default to users and, thus, removing the permission (undefinied status) will result in to it been granted by your kits plugin (since you're not explicitly negating it by setting it to false).

/lp search <permission> will list all users who directly have the specified permission set.
Note it will not take inheritance into account, so you'll need to use /lp group <name> listmembers if you want to see all who (directly) inherit a specified group which has that permission set.
While not what you asked, since it's possibly related to your query, if you're trying to determine where a user is getting a permission from, use /lp user <who> permission check <permission>, it'll show you how LP calculated the result for that permission on that player

regarding the home limit, that would depend on the home plugin you use. refer to their docs or ask their support.
cooldowns are not really possible with how permissions are implemented, as the same permission that is checked when you run the command is also used for tab completion. lets say you did add a cooldown to the permission for the /feed command. when a player presses /, the server will see what commands the player has access to, and it has to check the permission for the /feed command. they do have the permission, so itll show up in completion results, but now its on cooldown, so if they now run the command, they no longer have the permission

Hey there. Ive managed to have luckperms assign a permission for veinminer, which is veinminer.command.toggle. When players pay the cost they get access to the toggle command for 6 hours. However, If the 6 hours runs out, and they still have it toggled on, even if they dont have the toggle permission anymore they cant still still use veinminer, if they had it toggled on when the time ran out. Is their a way to force them to toggle it off when the time runs out. I cant think of a way to do it.

So I just transferred my server through different nodes when I upgraded my server and now every time a member tries to join we get this:

LuckPerms weight does not act a means of sorting the order in your tablist. It's up to TAB to manage the order of your groups in the tablist.

We're not familiar with the Essential mod either and we're not sure either if that would provide you with a way of accessing console. I'm fairly certain you cannot access it. It appears to function as a singleplayer world where you may only enable cheats and give op.

So I have a player whose in both Group A and Group B. Now Group B has a suffix, but the player has asked me to remove the suffix. I tried removing it from the actual player, but since it's linked to the group, I can't fulfil their request without removing Group B from the player and manually adding all the permissions to the player. Hi there, I'm having trouble with LuckPerms not showing the prefix in chat. Hey, I'm having an issue with permissions on shopguiplus and was wondering if someone here could help. They dont seem to know what to do about it since I have perms configured properly but it still doesnt work.
I have a VIP shop that only my VIP group should be able to access.
In order to restrict this shop to only VIPs, I gave my default group the negative perm for the shop, and my VIP group the positve perm for the shop. My VIP group inherits from default, but is weighted higher.
When I have it set up like this, the default group's negative permission for the shop overrides VIP's positive permission and no one can access the shop.
I am also unable to access the shop even though I have OP
If I remove the negated permission from my default group everyone can access the shop regardless of rank.

LuckPerms doesn't save users in the default group with no extra permissions assigned to save storage space and, thus, I'm assuming that's why your web editor users list doesn't reflect the same number of players in your server.

Re-read my previous message please. It's a matter of permissions assigned directly to a user.
Sure. You may use any format you please. LuckPerms doesn't really care about the context of your prefixes, as it provides one as a string.
This being said, it's up to whatever plugin's you're using to display your LuckPerms prefixes, to properly support the gradient you want to use.

You can't have both PowerRanks and LuckPerms.

You'd need a plugin that would provide that functionality and perform a LuckPerms command. As far as LP is concerned, it doesn't execute its own commands under such criteria, or at all.

Perhaps. The plugin executing the command above on the interaction you mentioned, needs to provide a player placeholder for you. It's not always going to be %player%.
LuckPerms isn't control of determining that placeholder either.

Hello, I'm currently attempting to use Luckperms with a experimental server client called Arclight, (Server hosting client that allows both forge mods and bukkit/spigot plugins be ran on the server) hosted by Exaroton, a third party server hosting service (paid aternos) that's for 1.16.5.
