i reinstalled the vps and i saved all databases and all of the servers.
Now.
i uploaded the servers and the databases
and i ran the databases
and they work perfectly
the luckperms generated the files
and i stopped the server
deleted the generated files
and uploaded the old ones. And now it loads perfecetly but the /lp listgroups doesnt show the old groups and all things dissapered

Alright, so /lp bulkupdate all update server survival2 "permission == group.bunny" basically updates all entries of the group.bunny from global context to context=survival2. Essentially, moving the group from global to survival2 only.

Hello, I am sure that this question has been answered before, but i am setting up a rankup system and long story short when I rankup, I get a message that "is a member of multiple groups on this track. Unable to determine their location." and the editor shows I am in both default and the rank I have ranked up to. Luckperms can only control command usage IF the plugin/mod that implements that command makes a permission request to luckperms when used. So basically i could write you a mod where i totally ignore the permission question and just let everyone trigger commands - or I add extra code to ask for the permission

No. I'm fairly certain there's no such addon/feature currently.
I suppose you could make one yourself via the LuckPerms API and trigger actions when permissions expire.

I'm having issue with internal traffic with around 1200 ~ 1300 playercount atm.
Currently, outbound traffic is around at 500mbps , and internal traffic is hitting 930mbps which is almost at limit of 1Gbps line.
Which is casuing packet loss - obviously very bad sign.
Internal traffic from packend bukkit server to proxy should obviously include outbound traffic ( chunk and stuff ) , so this means that around 400mbps is accounted of plugin messaging.
I found that LP is constantly syncing permission over network to ensure permission syncroniczation.
in this playerbase, can LP generate large traffic from plugin messaging? If then, is there way to reduce it?
I looked into plugin messaging part, and tried to change some settings, but it didn't work out as I expected.

/lp verbose command DarkLaw /spawn would force user DarkLaw to run /spawn and show you in chat the permissions checked when running that command.

That is because the command is received on your spigot server but you are using the same database for both - which causes syncing of data.
You can not add anything to the command itself, but you can use a different database (or table prefix) for the bungee instance.

You do realize that this is not how it works though right
If you add admin to a user on bungee, that does not whatsoever mean they will have the permission from spigot plugins, even if those are included in the admin group on the bungee
What the bungeecord version does is it responds ONLY to permission checks from plugins that are installed on bungeecord. So it makes no difference if you have admin on bungee if the plugin asking for a perm, such as essentials, is sitting on the spigot.
To separate per-server ranks but also have global ones, you should sync all your backends via a remote database (screw bungee at this point), and use server context if you want to cap a rank per server

Lets say you make lobby and skyblock use the same database. So both read and write to one "box of data". So then if you do "lp user zero parent set admin" then i will have admin on both servers, no matter whether you use it on skyblock or lobby, because again, both servers write to the same database. Now lets say you only want me to have it in skyblock, then what youd do is this "lp user zero parent set admin server=skyblock".
Granted, you added the skyblock context to the config of luckperms in your skyblock server.
And in the second case here, it does not matter if you use the command in skyblock or lobby. Even when sending it in lobby, skyblock will see the command in the database.

Stop your server, delete your current LuckPerms jar file, head to the downloads page and grab a fresh one, upload it to your plugins folder and restart.

Using the Web Editor, I set up in the default groupessentialcommands.randomteleport as shown in the screenshot. The "Web editor data was applied to group default successfully. FoxeyAnt is a member of the default group, yet cannot use /rtp
In this screenshot you can see rtp has been applied to the default group. FoxeyAnt had not permissions set. Finally show FoxeyAnt is member of default like shown in the web editor. Why does FoxeyAny not inherit rtp from the default group?

The main problem is color codes. I want to use two different types of color codes for different plugins.
Its hard to explain so I will show an example:
For the ChatPlugin for the prefix of the player it would need to use:
<gold>[Owner] <red>
But for the leaderboard plugin, it would need to show:
%6[Owner] %c
Is there a way I can maybe give myself the owner rank twice but with these two different configurations and than prefer a specific one when I need it?

I'm having this issue currently, I renamed 3 of my groups from vip, mvp, and mvp+ to their real rank names as we had changed the names later. Now the players with previous rank names no longer have those ranks nor do any of them have default rank. How can I fix this.
Also there seems to be an issue with luckperms and my chat plugin, it doesn't seem to be my chat plugin but essentially with me changing the rank names they no longer have proper prefixes, so my chat is all just default ranks? If that doesn't make sense it's because I have extremely tired lol

You're asking us to blame something we don't see or can even know to begin with without seeing detailed technical logs about every single thing going on in your server, including who logged into it (aka the control panel, not into the mc server) and so forth. We can't give you a finite answer who to blame. For all we know, you could have an admin who yeeted the database.

Your current permissions sit inside a file. Changing to a new storage will never automatically take the perms to it, as LP will not just assume that you want that.
