#easy DPS heroes to pick up and play?

ayo... so
i play few heroes from the tank\support, but the DPS role is something i might've struggled with, i tried to pick up and learning junkrat and pharah (which i have a lot of hours on by now) but let's say that i quit playing them since i didn't see much improvement on them, so... by now i'm back to the zero point, and those two might be 2 of the easiest heroes to counter.

so i want any suggestion for DPS heroes that are easy to pick up and learn, i don't want to be the best of the best on them, but something i at least can go to comp with without worrying about getting countered so easily (i mostly just do the placements and quit playing DPS for the rest of the season)
another thing i might want to ask for advice for is..
how to handle long queue times? as silly as this sound, i play tank\support most of the time and i get less than 5min queue most of the time, and with longer queue times i get drained and lose desire to play quick

Hands down junkrat he’s probably one of the easiest characters to learn ( in my opinion)

the enemy will go pharah or anything that can just shoot from afar and it's a GG for me

sym is extremely fun, u can pull off really crazy plays by yourself with the seemingly simple kit you have

4d chess OW character, i highly recommend her

mei's also VERY good right now, u can get insanely good value if u place walls right so i also recommend her (but even simply freeze spraying the enemy tank = epic)

i think tbh both of these are very easy to play, but provide pretty high value when you learn them further (along with other characters on the list above ^)

I think Torb is also a good character esp in lower levels with the loss of more barriers

I primarily play support, and sometimes struggle with DPS too. Soldier is my go-to; he's not fancy, but he's just so versatile and it feels like he fits into most comps. You do need to aim, but he can reposition relatively quickly, the self-healing is good, and he has good range.

Torbjorn is a good pick if the enemy team has backliners that are causing you trouble. Just dropping a turret at the rear of your team can do a lot to deter someone like Genji or Tracer from ripping up your backline.
