Being the Father of Huntsmen and Hunters makes hircines mortal niche stand out to me as one of the less overtly evil (besides manbeasts).
After all, fishermen, huntsmen, game catchers and people making a living by catching fresh prey, they all work for the hunt, regardless of if they even do worship Hircine.
No doubt some might, with Hircine, the deeper you go the more grandiose the hunt becomes though.
For most folk who live a simpler life, Hircine may be more a being to acknowledge and respect than one to outright revere.
Most who revere Hircine true, are either his children (manbeasts) or have a particular reason to do so. A lot of societies that acknowledge his presence scarcely outright worship him.
So in my mind it seems like most hunters respect hircine out of prudence, but few would worship him outright lest they sought more than what the life of a mortal huntsman could grant them.
The promise of more is what entices most to the Princes.
