idk how to apply the material to it
drag the material onto the model
right clicking it doenst open up a side panel
okay idk what i did but nothing works anymore

The game is on a specific version, aka the last one
The Ultra Revamp update broke most mods, like UFG
So you need to get a version of the game before Ultra Revamp

Finally someone who means making mods when they say modding. Istg so many people ask this exact same question here and just mean installing mods
Anyway, mods for this game are made as Bepinex plugins written in C#. These mods usually make use of harmony patches to insert code as prefixes or postfixes of in-game code (or you can use a transpiler for more fine-grained control but that's complicated). You will need a decompiler like dnspy or ilspy to decompile the game's code. There's good guides for all of this in the pins
I know what mods are, I just need to figure out the language
For making custom levels, you will need either Rude or Spite. For either of them you will need Vanity Reprised. Again, check the pins for that. Rude/Spite can also be used for making asset bundles.
Well, C# is similar to C, C++ and Java, so experience in either one of those will help, especially Java

the reasoning behind it is that often people in both my community and others get frustrated that sub mods from these two mods get mixed in and clutter up the thunderstore page
enough ive gotten dms to take down my mods or having people harass people making ultraskins mods because its harming the overall appearance of the thunderstore page when people just want to find new mods that arnt related to either UST or Ultraskins

So, me or Thunderstore has no opinions on what the categories should be. It's just that removing categories once packages are already using them is bad, so we try avoid adding them unless the community agrees that adding them is a good idea. And the reason I asked here is that's it's difficult to know whether a PR for adding categories presents an individual's opinion or the opinion of the community as a whole.
As it stands it seems there's something like 1 for and 1 against? So maybe see if there's more discussion about this before deciding what to do with the PR?

When you install bepiex they have their own version of one of unity's files that allows them to load, verifying the integrity replaced it with the unmodified file so you will need to reinstall bepinex
Tldr; verifying the game files deleted something bepinex needed to load

The zip you got from thunderstore should have the readme, icon and manifest in the top level, as well as either a dll or a folder. If it's a dll or a folder named anything other than "plugins", put it in the plugins folder. If it's "plugins", merge it with the plugins folder

So, with r2modman, you do everything through the mod manager. No dragging and dropping folders anywhere. Then you click on "play modded" through the mod manager. If you just launch the game normally, the r2modman mods won't launch

I had bepinex installed manually. Then used r2modman to install Bepinex there. There wasn't any conflict because r2mm keeps its plugins separate

Making a fundamentally singleplayer game into a multiplayer one is a monumental task. Plenty of modders have tried. Only Jaket really succeeded for a while until the revamp update broke the mod. There's still ongoing work on making it work on the newest patch, but modders do this shit for free in their free time

He just has to have everything famcy, instead of producing something that functions in a month but satisfied the conditions barely.
He is too fixated on creating v3, instead of just using v1’s existing body parts. This is the one of many issues of a dev who refuses to see reality over practicality.

I think it's because hammer zone only kills if an enemy has less then 4 hp with a green hit point blank, if its a light enemy that your hitting you will get the overkill bonus. Same applies to the shotgun zone on the shotgun

Hey guys, I’ve been working on ui and made some progress and had planned to keep up the work on multiplayer in the revamp after I had working code for embedding ui, however, after the notorious windows update of KB5063878 on August 13th doing stuff like bsod-ing my laptop, I recently learned about it, tried to downgrade, and in short I couldn’t fix it and made it worse, as running cybergrind caused bsod after a security update that I prevented the update installer from operation but it still forced downloading without my consent.
Therefore, I took my laptop in today, and although progress was extremely rapid and I wanted to continue, microsoft has proved they suck at patches and now I cannot work on multiplayer for the next week without my laptop, as a technician is looking at it now and only on business weekdays.
Luckily, he’s not too backed up, so hopefully he will find a fix soon so the ui could possibly be completely finished and I would finally be able to mess with the multiplayer part.
Ui isn’t that hard to make now that I understand how things work, but I can’t do anything constructive without my laptop.
Although I have a spare, it is less powerful and I only use it for school stuff as it is tiny and physically damaged, so I might post what code I currently have on the mod that is on my backup hdd which holds my progress from the laptop currently being serviced.
