chapter 1 is pay what you want, but pay more than 1 usd and you get the deluxe edition with extra goodies such as the soundtrack
chapter 2 is available at a minimum of 1 usd
chapter 3 will be included in the unholy trinity, which does not have a release date as of yet but will likely cost ~10usd
I do recommend playing the chapter 2 demo prior to the full chapter however as theres some extra tidbits and it plays differently to the full chapter. same goes with the chapter 3 demo but of course the full chapter isnt out yet.

The steam demo won't be obsolete cause it's a demo, but the full chapters of 1 and 2 will be. The version of 1 included in the demo is already a newer edition than the one on other sites as it has the map.
There's still no harm in checking out the Deluxe Edition of 1 and the itch.io release of 2; at only a minimum of 1 usd its a nice way to support Airdorf prior to the release of the full trinity, especially as he's going full time with development now.
Not to mention previous versions have had different notes depending on the website it was obtained from. Who knows what will be different in the Trinity? 🤔
