I believe that at certain points of the games I coded in a manual "reset" of the cross mechanic but I haven't tested it that much

this glitch actually seems possible across all encounters. i've had this happen on faith and both demos. i think it happened twice(?) in faith, got the same spider glitch in ch2 demo and had it happen with the chase scene in the ch3 demo.

I've wondered this because there are pages on itch for chapters 1 and 2, and they link to the steam page where it advertises the chapter 3 demo, but there's just the demo. Nothing telling what the demo holds, and no option to buy 1 and 2 like an early access package that the third one would be added to later.

So steam’s version of chapter 1 is more recent, having the addition of the map in the pause menu.
Itch.io’s deluxe edition has some features that will be in the full release of Ch1, such as saves and the extra modes. It also comes with a soundtrack and other little goodies.

Summer nights is a perfect hit of nostalgia for me. Growing up in the outskirts of Austin, my brother and I would go out on summer nights with a Home Depot cement bucket and collect as many toads as we could find.
