So I have this theory that Malphas and UNSPEAKABLE are the same demon and I'm going to explain to you why do I think this way.

This probably contains tons of spoilers so I'll just mark it all as one

||Let's start with the look at The UNSPEAKABLE. They are a shape shifting demon because we saw them take form of Miriam Bell in chapter 2 and the red demon in one of the trailers. So it wouldn't be a problem for them to take form of bird demon aka Malphas.
Now if I remember correctly Airdorf said something about cultists saying "The UNSPEAKABLE" instead of saying demon's name. I don't remember Gary or any of the cultists actually saying "Malphas" throughout the entire game. The only person to say it was Garcia (and later John during a cutscene). Both Malphas' name and The UNSPEAKABLE are written in caps.
Cult's "main demon", the one they worship is Malphas. We know this because in chapter 2 when you're entering their hideout (?) in the sewers the text reading " Malphas' Home" appears on the screen. (It's written in Enochian, it translates to "Domus Malphas" which translates to "Malphas' Home" but I'm not completely sure because I was translating it myself). So when they're worshipping Malphas why would UNSPEAKABLE we know appear so much?
In demo chapter 3 in the "Gary's Note" he says about a "special visitor" that is here to help them prepare for the coming of The UNSPEAKABLE. All this time I was sure that the note is about Malphas. But it doesn't make sense if Malphas is The UNSPEAKABLE. This note is about Peekaboo and I can prove it. "due to it's special nature it has full access to the entire building" as we know Peekaboo can teleport, he was doing it during the fight in the demo of chapter 3. "do not go down into the hole it will make" Peekaboo made holes in both the Candy Tunnel and the apartments.||
Please tell me what you think about this.

||I just wanna add that the cultists likely call Malphas the UNSPEAKABLE out of reverence or respect for him but of course, the priests have no such respect for it so they just call it by its name. That, or they simply don't know they're one in the same and think they're separate entities.||

Because chapter 2 is supposed to be a paid game, as chapter 3. Airdorf wants to include the chapter 3 demo into steam, since that's where he'll release the full trilogy. Ch1 and Ch 3's demo are free, but ch 2 is supposed to be for a dollar(or whatever the price is now). Solution would be to include the demo of ch 2.

Ah, I didn't realize the current Steam offerings were up for free, I hadn't really looked closely, so that makes sense then. I see now Steam is fully only a "demo" as you said. I only played Ch 1 and 2 from itch (I paid for Ch 2) - I tend to play itch games more than steam. Airdorf could definitely charge more, we already have so much for so little in return. But I definitely think something as dark and ominous as Revelations should be in chapter 3

I feel that would confuse some fans because there’s a demonic entity you fight in the first (and technically second) chapter referred to by Garcia as Michael

By a cameo appearance of Michael (the Angel) would be a brilliant moment

It could even be dropped in as a reference to the film, Legion - where Michael disguises himself as a human to lead a small group of survivors on earth against an army of demons and God’s wrath

The story of the scarecrow itself if I recall was more on the area of the cornfield than the scarecrow itself

The Peekaboo Demon is a demon that appears in Faith Chapter 2.

It is a black, armless, humanoid figure with red hands attached to its face and two blood-red eyes. It will not kill John Ward if he does not move. If John moves, however, it will kill him.

It reappears in Gary's apartment. In the darkroom without the camera, it will kill John. Later, in the candle room, it will blow out candles until it reaches John but will be repelled and damaged by the cross. (from the airdorf wiki)

It took me like 3 minutes when it's always taking me 20 because I suck and I keep dying

I know that there's probably a ton of people who did it faster but I'm quite proud of myself

The Michael note could potentially be a pain in the arse to get if luck isn't on your side, but most speedruns are pretty RNG heavy in the first place.
