Looks like III release date is unknown to all. I did find an Airdorf interview though, where they said Faith III will be the final one, except for some extra DLC later they'd like to add.

how are the voices generated in Faith? I haven't looked into it but I know its an old Amiga voice synth. Thing is, I've used that synth, and I've emulated it, and neither are as smooth as the result in the game. I wondered if it was captured and then edited or if it was a unique synth.

there's a website where you can use SAM and vary it's properties to create different voices. After some experimenting you should recognise some of the voices
I don't think there is more to tell in regards to replicating FAITH's voices. Some googling should do the trick.

I know. I've used an emulator, but it sounds different. actual hardware ALSO sounds different. So it's not like some really big important question but I'm super curious as to the method used to capture the audio in game

Cool discussion... though I don't fully understand. Maybe related, from the airdorf interview: "a recorded exorcism was run through a .midi filter and then changed to squarewave to make one of the ambient tracks. It’s most noticeable right before the Candy Tunnel sequence in Chapter II."

I found a Commodore 64, imprisoned a demon within it and then used a Ouijah board to get it to speak through the synthesizer then I cut off a goat’s head and let the blood drip through the little heat vents in the Commodore 64 bc that’s how you feed the demon I guess

I started playing Faith II and I have so many questions... what are the two "coming soon" slots on the main menu? Why is there special thanks to Puppet Combo, and YouTubers? What does the blood pentagram do? I guess I should find out the last one for myself

the first chapter has a deluxe edition that has a flashlight and lantern mode. basically it just makes the game dark lol. flashlight puts a flashlight beam in front of you, and lantern gives you a small radius of light around you. so maybe the "coming soon" stuff is extra modes like that
