The void was too trippy for me to handle for too long and one or two of the bosses i felt could have been a little tougher or more interactive. However i do love the arcane expanse and the snipits of lore you get in spots

I just realized that the weapons you start in both Amid Evil and Dusk can represent what the movement in each game feels like
in Amid Evil, you use a heavy axe. An axe won't be the fastest thing, and it has some real weight to it, however you can maneuver your way if you know how to handle it and also hit hard
in Dusk, you use a pair of sickles. Very lightweight weapons, carrying 2 just to add some more damage due to them being more fast, rather than strong
